New Neutral Minion - Ambassador Faelin

Alright giving this 5 stars just for the amount of fun this card can generate.

But in all seriousness, Ambassador Faelin seems very interesting. His strenght is mainly based on 2 aspects:

- Quality of collosal minions. (How good are they?)

- Quantity of collosal minions. (How many are there?)

If there high quality then that makes Faelin really good. But Quantity can hurt the card. We can probably expect 10 Collosal minions, 1 for each class and maybe 1 neutral. So probably 11 collosal minions total if i had to guess. Still 11 possibilities are fine, just look at Envoy Rustwix which was fine. Envoy Rustwix basically has the same number of card in the pool (Of course no neutral prime, so 10 cards but it's still very similar), so i feel like the quantity might be fine... short term. If the team decides to make more collosal minions either in the mini set or in every set this year, then the quantity will skyrocked, possibly making Ambassador Faelin very unreliable in the future. Also about the Quality, from what we have seen so far, i think the collosal minions will all be pretty strong.

So yeah Faelin is a very fun and possibly good card short term, but i have concerns for long term.

Oh about decks that might run him... I think some slower decks might run him just to add some more cards in their deck and possibly get another wincondition. One deck which i think will love playing Ambassador Faelin is Ramp druid. (Ones without Kazakusan, which might be a lot more popular after rotation.)

Sunds like rustwik except not garbage. Might see play in Control decks as long as Kazakusan doesn't outclass them in every way. Anti-fatigue is good.

Only playable if;

- Colossal minions are completely OP in the way that makes it worth spending 2 turns trying to get them into your hand

- Some nasty control deck would be tier 1 next meta

- Everyone just loves this guy

If none of the above matters, then this card is trash. No taunt, and then you need a dredge card for it to do something. I mean, we're off from chillwind yetis ages ago.

Well i guess this one will see lots of play - at least at the beginning of the expansion! If we get a lot of good colossal minions this could see even more play! 

That realy depends on how many good colossal minions we will get!

I am wondering how much the randomness of the colossal minions available are going to be.  If there are a handful of good ones, and a pool of shit... then this may not be quite good

I want this to be a thing so much! But so far I am mixed feeling on the Colossal minions; At first I was excited for the design and their sheer size, but the more I think about it, the more I predict tight board management/space to work around. Not sure. But I still want a golden copy of this guy :D

Nice. If I understand dredge correctly, you could play a dredge card immediately after this and pick one of the 3 minions to bring to the top of your deck. Hopefully enough of the colossal minions are good enough that you have a more than 1/3 chance of getting something you want. 

The newest version of Envoy Rustwix, but he should be better since: a) He's Neutral, b) He activates on a Battlecry, and c) He synergizes with Dredge and the new Finley. If slow, value-based control decks exist in the new meta they will very likely be running a copy of Ambassador Faelin.

A fun card, but I'm not sure if he's a good card.

Quite an interesting one, specially when paired with a Dredge card. Not sure about its viability, given the randomness, though.
