summons minions, gains corpses instantly yeah this will be a BIG reason for running pure Unholy DK. Additionally this helps you setup a Grave Strength turn. Incredible 5/5 star card.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
Just based on how powerful the Corpse cards are this should be good even if it has no immediate impact.
Also it costs only 1-mana so an instant keep in the opening.
Why does Warlock pay 2-mana for a way worse effect?
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
Oh no Arthas, not again.
This card alone will make full unholy archetype scary, especially when cast on turn 1.
TREMBLE before.... the most legendary dragon that ever existed!
The key here is the corpses, not necessarily the 2/2s that spawn off it by chance.
Turn one this card, turn 2 Bonedigger Geist, and turn 3 Ymirjar Deathbringer. A really nice curve play. Who knows? this might just be the next big unstoppable turn1-2-3.
But at the end, this card will likely get nerfed. Not because of the key corpses it provides. But because if even a singular 2/2 gets out early on turn 2 while you play the geist the game is just over. Even hyper aggro decks that start with Irondeep Trogg got no chance, let alone a control deck. I'd imagine this card getting a one mana nerf just because of the chance of it ending games in the worse possible manner.
