Could be good if you can stack enough Discard synergy. Wish it was 4-mana for the memes.
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
This seems decent in standard, not bad but i also think not the greatest. Its kinda like a Doomguard, but maybe worse because it has no charge. But still a 7/7 with potential upside in discard decks is really good. Warlock has some discardlock stuff in standard, thanks to the core set and i'm guessing that we probably will see some more discard stuff in the future. After all, Discardlock is a classic.
And in Wild... Expremely good in Discardlock is what i want to say. However i'm not that familiar enough with that deck in order to be able to fully judge if it fits well in that deck.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
This did brought back memories of Doomguards, but in a toned-down kinda way.
Disco-lock have plenty of new tools to make a standard brew viable, I guess

What team5 would have nerfed Doomguard into.
But as we have long established, remove the charge and doomguard is useless and this card is similarly so. It'll only ever be played in a discolock deck, because discarding is the whole point and this card does it well, along with a massive 7/7 rush as well.
On its own, its not really good. Which is why I still think its the 28th card in the deck list.
That's one scary Doomguard but having rush instead of charge is a big deal ofc. This minion would feel bad if you discard the wrong cards though so maybe having more specific discard minions like Nightshade Matron are better for consistency.
I'd imagine this card will see play in Standard, but not in wild, there's better discard there.
TREMBLE before.... the most legendary dragon that ever existed!
So far it seems the pool of cards that do something for you when discarded is really small. I'm not going to try to figure out what you might be okay with losing to get out a 7/7 on turn 5, but I'm sure there's a decent amount.

Not really sold on the whole discard thing this time, seems a bit too inconsistent for my taste.
