New Rogue Spell - Shadow of Demise

The text on this is so weird, I'm going to assume that it still has the copy effect after becoming a copy. Like Ring of Tides, if it doesn't work this way then I don't understand this card.

This gives me a strong Valeera the Hollow-kinda vibes, but for spells only..!
Show us the concoctions already!!

It's a wonderful card to discover/generate. (In fact I suspect it has been created solely to enrich Umbral Geist and Vision of Darkness discover pool)

If there's any spell in your decklist worth its spot, it is preferable to get that opportunity to copy it; rather than virtually any other random garbage you might have got.

I'm not sure it will find itself a spot in most list though. It suffer from the comparison with card like Grey Sage Parrot. Powercreep is a bitch. :-/

That being said, competitive deck love consistency, which that card can provide in a lot of scenario.

I would not craft it; but I'd be moderately happy to open one.

Actually it would only enrich Vision of Darkness if you get a copy of it. Discover is Neutral and Class exclusive unless it specifically states so.

Anyways, this card seems incredibly powerful in almost any Rogue deck; some decks will get more value of another copy of either key spells or cheap combo cards to further enhance their turn. Very versatile too.

Wut, really  ?! As I understand it, discover/add a shadow spell implicitely fetch from all class's shadow spell pool.

Otherwise, how would Umbral geist works for class which don't have any shadow spell ??

Or is it that "add" effect fetch from all class, and "discover" effect fetch only from the current class ?

So just a third copy of a spell of your choosing? Sounds good enough to me honestly. Imagien copying one of Azshara's Relics, or just extra burn, more Shadowsteps.

The possibilites are...fairly limited, but the outcomes are usually good.

Still feels a tad boring for a legendary, but I guess it would be broken as a two-of

That's Discover, add works for any class unless of course its specified, but doesn't tend to be.
So Umbral Geist would work like you said, adding card from any class.

Although Vision would prolly Discover from another class if the class has no shadow spells if you somehow get it, I guess.

Well that's a safe craft if ever I saw one. There's just no way it doesn't see play, on pure flexibility alone.

So many things, from draw to damage, the design may be lazy as hell but if you can get a third copy of any spell in the game you'd put it in your deck.

They are really interested in promoting the new class, all the legendaries are horrible!! I don't think I'll buy anything!! If I don't pre-order anything, the game will give me 2/3 of the new class cards for free!! This Blizzard management to promote the new class is a shot in the foot! TNSC!!

This might be good. I doubt there are many spells you would play that you wouldn't mind a third copy of, but you have to pick just one. That applies to every class, but only Rogue gets this toy.

Would you want to include a Valeera the Hollows Shadow Reflection in your deck? Knowing how that leads to some insane plays i bet this will be a must-include in a LOT of rogue decks. Worst case scenario it will be a 3th Shadowstep or Preparation. Like this already seems NUTS in Miracle rogue and probably Thief rogue for more Jackpot!s or other burgle cards.
