Its the sort of card that dhunter really needs right now, so it doesn't just fold to aggro. Implock into relic dhunter is practically an instant concede because of the lack of early removal options.
That said, this card fills the hole only imperfectly. 1 damage across the board doesn't really do much, so its almost 100% dependent on spell damage or something like Enchanter to do anything useful. At least going for that combo will usually result in you gaining a ton of health, a not insignificant plus I may say.
If there isn't any more early board removal options this card may well be mandatory outside of aggro.
Turns 1-4, at least those Silver Hand Recruits will get removed before too much damage gets applied. Turn 5 and with spell damage = kiss my grits
OH NO. OH NO NO NONO. This expansion gave us Enchanter a.k.a. Mo'arg Artificer reprint and Silvermoon Arcanist (Even though there are probably better spell damage cards) And now we got Unleash Fel a.k.a. Felscream Blast kinda reprint.
I really hope i'm completely wrong, but with this we basically have 3/4 cards needed for a Il'gynoth kinda combo. So i really hope the mini-set (and future sets) wont include a Il'gynoth reprint.
But back to the card itself. It seems pretty good. 1 mana deal a bunch of damage to ALL enemies, including FACE seems good to me. Additionally it's a fell spell, which has Jace Darkweaver synergy. This will certainly see play.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
This might make Relic DH broken. It basically eliminates a defining weakness entirely when you combine it with Talented Arcanist.
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
DH just got way more annoying!

Yoh the power creep is real. Poor Arcane Explosion is definitely upset about this one. This spell could also be a comeback tool if you low on health. Gonna be an annoying and frequent spell to see for the next year.

I certainly can't complain about a potential heal for 8 health for 1 mana. Too bad I don't recall seeing much spell damage in DH, but there are always neutrals this might justify including.
Without Il'gynoth (and unlikely that we'll see one reprinted,) this is only just a small board clear tool. Slower DH decks combining this with Talented or Silvermoon Arcanist *is* a game ender for many board decks, but that's the extent of this card. Barely noticed in any other matchups.
