Its a better Seance, and you get to choose whether the buff triggers or not.
One of those weird keyword cards that would probably be more often played untriggered. Because I cant see this ever seeing play in a board based priest deck.
Probably see play in control, and nowhere else.
This is going to be the cause of a few upset people. The meta for silence priest isn't there... but a few of it's tactics are. Maybe we are enroute to see an aggro holy priest build...
Priest doesn't seem to be known for summoning minions on turn 1, so this will likely not be useful on curve. Unless your opponent plays something early that would actually be worth you buffing in order to get a copy for yourself. That said, this looks like it could be good still.
Could be good for Naga Priest, but I'M uncertain of how playable that deck is without (I hope) Radiant Elemental
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
Ironically in Wild it's probably a worse Seance since the Shadow tag is better than an occasional buff.
Seance reprint, which is why i think it's a 4/5 star card at least. The Finale can be both an upside and downside depending on who's minion you copy, but you can easely play around it. Like seriously, don't copy last. It's that easy. Seance saw a lot of play when it was in standard, and i bet this will be as well. Just a very flexible card.
Also i love the name. Each time i read the name i immediately think it's "Shadow word:" instead of Power cord. Yeah reading is a hard thing lol.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
Seance with an upside seems good.
