Is this the replacement activator for Death Beetle once guff rotates?
Its that activator for druid.
But for most other classes the best part of this card is that it increases the maximum number of cards in hand. Often enough a value that's understated nowadays in hearthstone.
At very least this means druid wont be getting another bs ramper.

Top tier reference, mediocre card otherwise. Might enable some fun combos that previously weren't possible for a lot of decks (like Brann + 8-mana cards, although Brann will rotate).
Won't be relevant though, 11-mana is too slow for any class that isn't Druid and I doubt Death Beetle will be that good of a win condition.
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.

Nice Spinal Tap reference. I don't know who wouldn't want an extra mana crystal and extra card in their hand. Well, except for decks that don't tend to hold a lot of cards or tend to win before 10 mana.
Ah that flavor text made me chuckle inside. We all knew this type of mechanic was coming thanks to Death Beetle and if control ever see the light of day in standard again, this might be a good tech card to start with.

I can totally see control decks utilizing this, but not an overpowering card
Can totally see this in any slower decks. Control or maybe some slow OTK decks will probably use this.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
If only it said "Increase your max mana and handsize by 1", so that the second copy isn't completely useless. Think it's too ambitious for Combo decks to run just to enable their combo.
