Whooooa! In today's Hearthstone update notes, Blizzard dropped a crazy bomb on us - Wild Packs and Adventures are returning to the shop!
- A new in-game shop will roll out next week when Descent of Dragons launches.
- The new shop will allow you to purchase old Adventures*.
- The new shop will allow you to purchase Wild Packs for Gold and Real Money.
- You can claim Tyrande Whisperwind for free by visiting the new Hearthstone shop.
- The Sylvanas Windrunner hero will be available for purchase for $10 USD.
- Magni, Medivh, and Alleria are leaving the shop.

In the new shop, you’ll find bundles, Card Packs, Alternate Heroes, and more together in a single location – additionally, Adventures and Wild Card Packs are being added, with the option to purchase Wild Card Packs using gold.
On December 10, we’ll be rotating the current lineup of Heroes available in the shop – they may return at a later date, but for now, be sure to take advantage of the current Hero sale featuring Magni, Medivh, and Alleria!

I remember it like; When first time they decided to stop producing Adventures, they had said that It will be available to purchase with gold only if you bought a wing with gold. I've suggested everyone to buy them with gold at least one wing because it won't be available to buy with gold in future in that time (to my roommates at least), so it might be about that.
Well, they also said that wild packs won't be available in that time but after that they said it would be nice to add them to the shop in future. Now they are adding them.
Blizzard might be the most inconsistent company of all times. Not just for Hearthstone, it is like that for all other games of them.
I'm very happy about this. Even at my dumpster Rank in Wild I see the same people all the time. It'll be good to get some fresh blood involved.

So back when they first released the guaranteed legendary within your first 10 packs of an expansion, it ended up making it so that if you bought packs from an expansion after that, the first 10 would still contain a legendary, even if you had gotten packs before they added in that feature.
So unless they specifically changed that, it should still work for the first few expansions, since I never heard anything about them fixing that
So, I just tried this and it works! Did the first two expansions and got a legendary on pack #9 then pack #6!
In theory, it would seem profitable dust-wise to buy wild packs for the guaranteed legendary from each set you haven't bought before, right??
Basically 100-1000 gold for a legendary, so it should be. If it does still work, then it’d namely be TGT and GvG that weren’t possible to get with gold when it was introduced. Back then it was only the Classic set that was confirmed to not work
I’d say potentially hold off for a bit on doing it though, so that it can be confirmed whether or not it still works. Chances are I might end up making a post on the forums if it does work out.

As both a Standard & Wild player, I'm happy to see the support Wild requires to be more successful. It should now be much more accessible to players. It's unclear to me why the option to buy Wild packs/expansions was ever removed in the first place.
Hopefully, even more attention will be given to Wild thanks to some more players joining the ranks.
This would be the best incentive to do so. My question now is: How much MORE support is Wild going to get?
The shop was in great need of some attention. So excited about Sylvanas! And finally I can kick some gold towards some Wild sets if I feel like it!
Those are some great News! A lot of wild players have requested that for ages, now they are finally making it happen.
I hope the Wild Player-Base will see some long awaited increase. Fighting the same 10 People over and over again gets boring real quick
I know right? We all love Dane but I rather go to his stream than get him on the ladder constantly.
I'm all for them updating the shop, and them rotating the heroes I hope means new heroes will roll out sooner than later (Rogue still needs a third hero)
Wild packs are good for those who care. I hope they have distinct disclaimers so new players won't be confused.
Also, it will be weird to see the 3 heroes leave and be replaced with just one. However, this makes me hopeful that new portraits will be added more frequently and that we'll be getting more classic lore characters, with the meme/expansion-themed characters being relegated to bundles and preorders (Vanessa vanCleef, let's go , Rogue needs some love)
I wouldn't be surprised to see some old portraits from previous bundles hit the shop at some point. Like Mecha-Jaraxxus, or even Sir Annoy-O.

Needless to say I'd be surprised if they didn't make it abundantly clear to new players and veterans alike.
