And now on the regular when I actually manage to get into the game, Hearthtone will have deleted all my basic cards, making 90% of my decks unplayable. If I ever get past 10-minute loading times, that is. THis can't just be because of a bad connection, right? Like, it's stil lgood enough to watch youtube videos without buffering...

So, I have been struggling with a terrible internet connection lately but at least Hearthstone still worked. It would only maybe crash once on startup and afterwards be fine.

However, since sunday, maybe 1 out of 5 attempts gets me into the main menu; loading my collection may require up to 5 minutes and attempting to start any game tosses me out of the game for good. I know part of my issue is the internet but that is a problem that has gone on longer than these severe issues.

Is anyone else having trouble similar to this?

I think the issue with Battlegrounds is that there aren't a lot of winning strategies. Most of it is just "Buff your minions to heck" or "get all the deathrattle/summon interactions" and most nuance comes from positioning and attack order which, depending on your opponent's setup, may not matter a whole lot. your biggest minion gets sniped by a lucky poisonous one? Your key minion gets obliteraed by the guy that targets th elowest attack minion first? That's it.

I enjoy the mechanic of combining minions into golden ones but that just ends up being confusing during the battle phase. When combat resolves, it turn into  a mess that is incredibly hard to follow and not that fun to watch either. I gotto be honest, I am already burned out on the mode from just watching streamers play it and I havn't even tried it myself... I still will but it definitely didn't get me hyped.

Good card but i wonder how it will interact with Necrium Vial.

Necrium Vial will shuffle two Candles in your deck and, if you draw them while Waxadred is still alive, they won't do anything.

Just like when you shuffle more than three Candles with The Darkness and your opponent draws them when it's already awakened.

That depends on how exactly the card works. If it is like Lucentbark and leaves behind a dormant version of itself, then yes, you would be correct. Considering it doesn't mention the phrase "go dormant", I'd assume you can actually multiply Waxadred with Necrium Vial

I would love to finally see some Shadowform support. This has always been my favourite card but even thoug hit's a classic card, other than Vol'jin there was no support at all. Hell, shaman has gotten freeze support for only having a single minor freeze card in their classic set....

Going forward I would love OOC to also give info on the inticracies of the tavern brawl. Random decks? Self-made decks? Restrictions? Special rules? etc. So far it's only a copy of the ingame description.

That's true, Infinite Tesses can do the trick. My view might by subjective here, having played Cutlass Rogue in wild since Witchwood where my main objective was to grow the cutlass to a point it was ridiculous. Weapon destruction was a huge issue for that.

I feel that, considering the popularity of zephrys, it would be recommended to either run the quest or a second cutlass as a fallback plan. Otherwise you are basing your entire gameplan on a single card that you not only have to draw but also keep alive.

Also, I think with the amount of burgle effects, The cutlass lacks sustain. Academic Espionage should help with that in the lategame.

I'm fully aware that Blizzard is in their right to do it, that's not the debate. Morally, however, it's pretty f***ed up.

Plus, compare this situation with the whole Roger fiasko. Cheating/wintrading in a tournament seems worse for the integrity of Hearthstone and he was not penalized within that tournament at all. Hell, he even got fairly close to winning it.

I had to actively research that part. Noone seems to talk about the "eight words" thing :/ Thanks for informing me.

It's still a BS excuse to fire the casters over this. I saw one of them literally in tears about basically loosing his job.

Not even cheaters have been treated this harshly this fast. Not to mention that their excuse for banning the casters was that they didn't "keep the event focused on the tournament" which is absolute BS. They immediately cut away; like, what else were they supposed to keep that event focussed?

I am rather disappointed that the heroes get no new voicelines whatsoever with the portrait. Having a "King Anduin" speak in the boyish voice "I won't let you down" just seems out of place.

Easily the least enjoyable chapter so far IMO. The deathrattle minions that come from the twist often enough have been severely impacting the run, like continuously spawning lucentbarks that slowly clogged up my board or octosaris to burn half my deck. The plaguelord in particular is very annoying and RNG-based. If he gets any strong deathrattle onto the board early, there usually isn't much of a chance to turn the game around. I got extremly lucky in my third run only and the last fight took me over an hour to finish, even though he started with less than 200HP at that point.

I have several runs done with jr tomb diver, trying to get a deck that works consistantly but due to literally never being offered a secret bucket, I always need to rely on random spell generation. Wondering if there even is a secret bucket at that point....

Is it just me or am I not seeing  a single one of the new quests in these? Maybe they will be i na starting deck; I sure hope so.

Hagatha, the Witch is also missing. So is the Doctor Boom Hero - those I can understand since they are technically the bad guys.

So, even though the Rogue's alternative hero power reads "Add a card from another class to your hand", it instead gives you cards from your current opponent's class

My favourite moment was using Unseen Saboteur to pull out the opponent's Puzzle Box of Yogg-Saron which drew him into fatigue.

I found in terms of healing, Antique Healbot is more reliable and capable of burst heals in the lategame. Also, for a bit of a greedier approach: Using Rummaging Kobold to burst-produce jade golems
