I wanted to ask you (or anybody else listening): Where do you find your information on the best decks out there?
It's my understanding that HSReplay has the best information but you have to pay premium for the information. I rely on TempoStorm to provide me a temperature check about every two weeks... I play wild so for me, it works. Other websites like Hearthstone Top Decks are 4 months old (October 4th) (for wild.)
Please let me know what you guys think. I love learning about new resources.
I shared my thoughts on this topic a long time ago on Hearthpwn. I believe that the Zodiac years should have seasons that have super active rotating set of wild cards which make up the "core" of the game. I think every phase of the moon should mark a new shift of cards with special events that line up with space events in real life. Eclipses and planetary alignments should be used as markers for special events. I really think that Hearthstone missed an opportunity to keep the community on its toes... but these were my thoughts before the dawn of standard. When we dreamed of what was coming...
-Go to the tempostorm hearthstone website and check out the best decks. HSReplay is a good resource too (probably better but I am not premium member.)
-Know your deck! I can play a tier 4 deck up to wild platinum in a given month
(but if you want legend you will need a top deck. )
- A deck tracker is a great resource if you are playing on a PC.
Good Luck. I hit legend one time. Metas shift from time to time so you can kind of feel the meta if you play a bunch in a given day. I also find that the later in the day it gets the more difficult my opponents are.
Are you changing the pool of cards Zephrys the Great pulls from?
No. Zephrys the Great is rotating to Wild with Saviors of Uldum and will still pull from the same Basic and Classic cards that are now part of the Legacy set.
OK, recommendations (disclaimer, some of these will be on the "dated"/ or plain racist side of things) but Ducktales is based off of his universe:
Fantagraphic's the Complete Carl Barks Disney library volume 12: Only a Poor Old Man
This is absolutely the best Carl Bark's collection out there. I don't care what you say about Lost in the Andes... I disagree. I prefer the kindle version of these books because now I have over 1600 pages of Carl Bark's on my phone to keep me busy whenever I have to wait.
---
If you want some more recommendations from this collection it would be:
A Christmas for Shacktown
Trail of the Unicorn
Lost in the Andes
The Seven Cities of Gold
The Pixlated Parrot
The Twenty-Four Carrot Moon
Christmas on Bear Mountain....
(the list goes on and on because Carl Barks worked on these comics relentlessly in three decades from 1940s into 1960s)
So I just played a game in Rank Wild against a very powerful handbuff Warrior as a reno quest mage. I barely won after he had destroyed my board, handled my Reno, and revealed my ice block. I played double [Hearthstone Card (TimeWarp) Not Found] into double Kazakus 5 damage and polymorph Spell. I played Zephrys the Great and after all of that... he still had insanely handbuffed minions I had to deal with! I got lucky I pulled and played Devolving Missiles along with with Solarian Prime (and no I didn't have Astromancer Solarian in my deck.) Solarian Prime then casted Puzzle Box of Yogg-Saron...
I won the game with the most insane good luck but I knew in my heart of hearts that the handbuff warrior is back and it is VERY strong. (Rank 4 Wild)
All this to say, control decks do exist some days are better than others.
Currently, lvl 21 and the rewards track feels awful. I don't know about the math but it feels like it takes 3 days of dailies to get 100 gold while it used to take only one day to get 60 gold. The weekly quests should be the daily quests. Blizzard slowed down the gold amount and stopped the ten gold for 3 wins. I feel like I am not really incentivized to play as 400 experience for an hour is insanely lower than 10 gold for three wins. It feels really bad and a loss of efficacy. I am scared that the Pluderin' Pirates card back from September 2014 might pop up in the hearthstone shop and I will be powerless to get the gold that I need to pay for it. So I need to keep at least 500 gold in my account just for that purpose.
I think this new rewards track might actually slowly kill the game because it feels like players have fewer real ways of getting gold. At the very least give the players back the 3 wins for 10 gold option.
I am proud of those content creators who are taking a stand on YouTube and other platforms against the new reward track as this game is not just for fun but their way of getting money.
Best wishes to you. I think it was a good call to leave your collection as is that way if you do decide to come back and play it will be there. That being said, I too have grown tolerant of the game that I once loved. I have been playing some Starcraft II but my life situation doesn't really allow for much more than Hearthstone. The game has become more of a habit than a joy. I try to realize that Hearthstone is just a game and doesn't really provide much escape from the horrors of 2020. I hate this year. This year has become "my private nightmare." Well, YourPrivateNightmare, I wish you the best.
I will miss your tag line: I tried having fun once. It was awful.
Thank you for this and other Wild content.

You want help to hit legend?
Here is my answer:

And my first question was:
Are you changing the pool of cards Zephrys the Great pulls from?
Thank the Maker!

All snowflakes get one.
I feel unrewarded playing casual mode and miss my 3 win gold/reward.

I really need to know what the text flavor is on this card... perhaps a reference to a song by Sir Mix-A-Lot?
Edit:
What a disappointment:
Many wonders lie within, but they are not mere toys when your mind is their plaything.
My silly, non-serious, answer:
New Game mode:
Hearthstone GarageBand with all sound effects and card sounds.
Thanks for keeping the WILD content rolling every week!
