Nope but good guess - that "1, 2, 3" line is a very specific part of this.

Nope - though this is closer by being a wild card (I was being quite literal with that in the clue)

I don't want to do two in a row so ArngrimUndying can have this next one. (But I still get a point for guessing this)

I appreciate your pity on my wild stabs (pun intended)!

    Camouflaged Dirigible?

Bad tech card in that most mech decks (currently) are hyper-aggro so effectively useless at 6 mana plus the effect itself is so situational

The reversed lines are the "camouflage"

"Different/alike" in that it's a mech, but maybe shouldn't be given the goblin pilots so inconsistent with cards like Omega Defender where Blizz sometimes focuses on the pilot and sometimes on the machine

And there's a giant spike on the front of the ship

I'll ask that if it's not this or Void Ripper perhaps a more substantive hint/more lines? There are a LOT of truly terribly tech cards so guessing could take a while....

Okay I feel like this meme with my convoluted logic but:

Image result for always sunny conspiracy meme

    Harbinger Celestia?

The reverse text because she mirrors whatever your opponent puts down. Also a totally useless tech cards that no one has ever played ever, not even for the memes. The "shipwreck" is a reference to people's generally giving "nautical" themes to space (i.e. astronaut = star sailor; the various "seas" and "trenches" on the moon/other planets). The "deadly spike" is a reference to her flavor text about once being a unicorn.

You know what? I don't care if this is "wrong" - in my heart it's right and that's what matters, so for the first time ever this card gave someone something useful lol.

Alright let's see if I have better luck on this one:

Kobold Stickyfinger? The "deadly spike" is the only line that I can't quite see how it fits.

Well I've had an absolutely garbage day in the game itself, so it's great to see that echoed here as well! (kidding - gg JFK)

Okay TRULY last guess then I'll let others take a stab since this is what my 4th or 5th guess: Sea Giant?

Got nerfed with the other giants during Alpha and, like Mogu, gets its cost reduced by minions on the field.

Alright last guess then I'm out of ideas: Mogu Fleshshaper?

Can win the game if you can drop on turn 4/5 + Mutate, which requires the help of other minions to reduce cost. Also got nerfed but some shaman decks still run it (I know I still run 1 in my Galakrond Shaman and it's still pretty darn useful much of the time)

    Giggling Inventor?

Can "win the game by itself" in that it's an unbeatable wall of taunts (doubly so in Shaman decks with Corrupt the Waters) plus adds a juicy Mutate target or with stuff like Bog Slosher can bounce back to your hand for even more taunts. Had to go in that it got nerfed, and per your hint does need some actual damage-dealing minions to be truly useful. Also the art looks like the annoy-o-tron is sitting on a shelf?

    Everyfin is Awesome?

Same basic principles as Murk-Eye in that you need murlocs to be effective, and a full board + 2 of these at reduced mana is an OTK. Not sure about the "had to go" if that's not being HoFed...

I’ve been playing it in Wild and the deck that consistently beats me is Secret mage. Also a quest shaman with double battle cry dirty rat and death lords beat me and it seemed with the heavy tech in his deck still had other options.

sometimes the game is over by turn 10 when I get the combo off. I think the key is to go face and not trade. Caveat this is in ranks 14-11.

I second Secret Mage - a well-timed Potion of Polymorph has frustrated many OTK decks for me...

I second ArngrimUndyings reasoning for a HoF-card. My guess is Old Murk-Eye, who needs other murlocs to be effective.

Oh yeah that makes more sense - Murloc Shaman still being a thing & having Charge (to win the game in one hit). Early congratulations!

    Sylvanas Windrunner?

Is the “off a shelf” a pun about the “elf on a shelf” Xmas thing and she was an elf.

assuming the “too good and had to go” is a reference to being hall of famed

Discover mechanic give you only cards of your current class and neutral

Ah I was unaware of this. Thanks for clarifying that this card is, in fact, even worse than originally thought lol

Absolute garbage, but I have time to kill so looked through the list of current Standard 2 drops and the minions below wouldn't be *terrible*. The only bright spot here is that the text doesn't specify priest minions, so then you'll be able to discover some not-terrible 2-drops from other classes. Still will never be run in anything but the most memey of decks, but here you go if you're a devout believer in RNGesus:

Amani Berserker - extra life means you could get a little more out of him with boosted attack

Bloodmage Thalnos - always a good card, and could be situationally better if you have spells like Penance handy

Booty Bay Bookie - losing the bad battlecry makes it a 3/6 for 3 mana. Not terrible if playing Inner Fire (which you most certainly are if you're playing this terrible card)

Millhouse Manastorm - ditto + even better at 4/7

Injured Tol'vir - the best of these "lose the bad battlecrys" since it's a 2/9 with taunt for only 3 mana.

Evasive Chimaera - extra life means harder to clear so you get at least one hit off it, maybe more

I second this salt - Dragonqueen Alexstrasza's text should say "add two LEGENDARY dragons" to be more honest.

No please ! She saved me so much times with giving me Evasive Wyrm and Crowd Roaster. :)

Well I wish I played you more often then since virtually every time I see someone drop her they get the ridiculous legendary Dragons and kill me in various and sundry ways :)

In your first post you ask why the conditions are even there because nobody ever plays them without meeting them

I think you've misunderstood my original question: I did not ask why the conditions are there (I do understand deck/thematic synergy) - I asked why cost the cards as though anyone ever plays them WITHOUT the conditions being met. Or worded another way: why not cost them to reflect their actual play impact/usage.

We seem to be agreeing, but are just thinking about it differently. To your point if Dragons Pack was 5 mana with no condition it would be fantastically OP, which I agree with. And because nobody ever plays it without hitting the condition, it is - in actual, practical effect - exactly that. So why not just cost the card at 6 or 7 to reflect what it really is?

So take another analogous example: Quest Druid. Has anybody seen a lot of Oasis Surger or Hidden Oasis recently? No because those cards were effectively designed to be played with the completed quest, even though a 5 mana 5/5 with rush is just fine on its own. So Blizz is effectively undercosting strong cards to make them "playable" in situations where people do not play them. It's the tail wagging the dog and, while I understand the logic, I happen to disagree with it.
