I've actually had moderate success with a even beast druid in wild and this would be insane in it. This allows any even deck to just skip the five mana mark when it is played on curve and jump right to those 6 cost minions like Menagerie Warden.
I'm hoping that warrior card (Hazardous Captain? Captain of Risks?) is legit - maybe its my local meta but honestly 15% of my matchups this past week have been Galakrond Warlock so definitely useful to have more low-cost/low damage AOE against them.
Same with the Hailstorm elemental - Blizz just keeps printing wonderful additions to my Wild Odd Elemental DK Jaina deck - can play that and then HP one of the icicles to get a 1/1, a 3/4, and a 3/6 with lifesteal plus two of them having freeze all for only 7 mana? Yes, please!
I'm not sure about this one - seems pretty slow for what will surely be a "must remove" minion. You probably will only get 1 turn of an extra mana before it gets taken out, so if it gets used at all my guess is it will be played at 10 mana & with the stealth used the following turn as a combo piece for some 11-mana OTK shenanigans
Welp I feel bad for the Pirate Warrior folks who've been able to use Ancharrr without much concern for anti-weapon tech. Once this hits you can bet every single deck is slotting in an ooze or Harrison Jones. Or maybe we'll even see Kobold Stickyfinger get played for the first time ever (spoiler: we will not see that)
Yeah I didn't note down my health & the other person who got knocked out the same round - it could be we were tied going into the fight or ended up with the same "final" health score. So definitely seems like whatever confluence of factors were in play, this is not something that likely happens "regularly."
The "inverse of old" perhaps being Cursed Castaway - "inverse" being dead (rather than alive) and have rush + draw (rather than drawing rushes). Also the summoning effect is firing the pirates out of cannons.
Thanks for the clarification! I had thought I read at some point that in a "tie" whoever had the higher tavern tier was given the better ranking (and then presumably there was a 3rd criterion if tier were tied as well) but perhaps not...
In a game just now I got a crown for coming in 5th and I'm curious if this is a new thing or just a situation I've never seen before?
Relevant variables: I and another player got knocked out on the same round. They placed 4th and me 5th. I lost to a dead player, them to a live one. However, the "ranking" screen had what looked like a little gold donut (it had sprinkles which is why I'm assuming it wasn't a halo) floating over my hero's head and I still was awarded a crown.
Is this a thing? If you get knocked out and get 5th the same turn as someone else who gets 4th you still get the reward? Or does my losing to a dead player have anything to do with it?
I'm tapping out on this one - I've looked at every single Adventure (Blackrock, Naxxramas, Explorers, & Karazhan) minion that's obviously female and cannot find any faceless mechs that match their stats who also positively interact with other minions (in a way that isn't just a stat boost).
Maybe I'm missing something - a minion that's canonically female but that I don't recognize as such or a mech that I think has a face that perhaps you don't? But I am all out of guesses here so good luck everyone else!
Although 1 more man, has the same 5/5 stats as the adventurous Elise the Trailblazer. And perhaps the "facial feautres" crack is about the minion being face-less. Also the summoning of another minion could help with survival if a better target gets summoned?
Really awesome to play some Galakrond decks and then have 4 straight games where I get under 10 cards in my deck and no sign of either Galakrond or Kronx to draw him. Super glad I built the entire deck around a card and his draw engine who both seem to want to be at the very bottom of deck and cost me 4 games I likely would have otherwise won.
"Shares its strength" i.e. has the same effect as Heroic Innkeeper (who has a better face) - gets stronger with "friends" i.e. other minions. I'm not sure about the overdrive - would suggest maybe Rush or Charge?
Care to share that decklist? Sounds interesting!

Hmmm Captain Hooktusk?
The "inverse of old" perhaps being Cursed Castaway - "inverse" being dead (rather than alive) and have rush + draw (rather than drawing rushes). Also the summoning effect is firing the pirates out of cannons.
Dread Corsair?
I see "staunch" I think taunt and he's the only taunting pirate...

This seems too slow for Overload Shaman, in Standard or Wild. How much do you really even see Rain of Toads at 4 less mana?
Not sure about Standard, but this is getting slotted right into my Wild Odd DK Jaina Elemental (I'm bad at naming...) deck for sure!

Man this clue has me asking "does that count as a robot's face?" WAY more than I ever would have thought...
Faithful Lumi? The female adventurous counterpart with the same stats being Reliquary Seeker from League of Explorers?
Kind of a long shot, but Faceless Summoner?
Although 1 more man, has the same 5/5 stats as the adventurous Elise the Trailblazer. And perhaps the "facial feautres" crack is about the minion being face-less. Also the summoning of another minion could help with survival if a better target gets summoned?
I don't know either just trying to think of something that made sense given the broad clues.
Bloodsail Howler?
Shares all the stats (2 mana 1/1) with Captain's Parrot which would fit thematically about being pirate "adventurers" together.
The more pirate "friends" the stronger it is
Has rush i.e. "overdrive"

Zolgear has it - well done! Your turn.
