Absolutely love this. This is a brilliant theme for a class. My favourite thing you've included is the 1 durability weapons, for a minute I just thought these were gonna be substitutes for spells but the added weapon synergy of Sera's Scheme and Elderwood Shaper makes them feel different and exciting. I think there are probably a couple balance changes or tweaks to be made so far like lowering the mana cost of a couple cards and similar things like that. Otherwise you've made a brilliant start and I'm excited to see how you adapt your class theme for each of the sets.
Ah cool okay, glad it's not my mind playing tricks on me! I liked the old name more too, had a more Warcraft feel to it (feels a bit of a generic name now). Strange how they never bothered to mention it. Thank you for clearing that up.
The reward for this quest used to be called Ramkahen Roar didn't it or am I just dreaming that? Now apparently its called Pharaoh's Warmask in my collection. Not any functional changes to the card but I never saw this mentioned in any patch notes ever.
Great article as always Shadows. I'm currently right at the beginning of making my first expansion. Its themed around Operation: Gnomeregan and I'm struggling for art. Specifically art for Troggs and Leper Gnomes (had to resort for a couple of artworks from Tombs of Terror namely Twizzleflux, Ichabod the Cursed, and Gluttonous Trogg). I want to post the expansion here when it's done but wondered if its frowned upon to use some in game art or if its alright?
Nice job updating on the card reveals so quickly guys! However there are like 3 cards from the Expansion Reveal video with Alec Dawson currently missing. These are Nozdormu the Timeless, Molten Breath and Dragon's Hoard.
Really love your lore articles mate they're a brilliant read. Trolls are my favourite race in Warcraft so it really was a pleasure to see an expansion based around them. Is it possible to have an article on the nine class loas presented in Rastakhans Rumble or a couple further down the line? Love the content as always mate.
Brilliant job getting the guide up so fast. One question though, why is the Mage section below all the other classes when typically its been third behind Druid and Hunter? Also noticed this was the case on the Rise of Shadows page.
