I've always been an advocate of Blizz putting Card Backs in the shop to buy with gold. I really don't see an issue with it and really hope this is the start of something more regular.
Hmmmm. There's quite a lot of Single Target Removal in the game right now. I guess this has psuedo Taunt in that at that stage of the game you wouldn't want to tank 11 damage or whatever it has.
Still, 9 mana for a single Body that probably won't clear the board is not great. I can't see this being played much outside of Arena.
And in Wild there are just better options for less Mana.
Why the hell haven't they nerfed Sorcerer's Apprentice yet? This card is yet another reason to Nerf that damn thing. People thought Open The Waygate was the issue so Blizzard nerfed that, spoilers, the Quest was never the issue. Its the raft of cheap spells that Mage has access to.
Combine 1 Mana Spells with a Sorcerer's Apprentice and a Flamewaker then include a cheap source of Spell Damage as well and Quest Mage is going to be an even bigger problem than it already is.
Exactly why Sorcerer's Apprentice needs a Nerf. And it's an easy one as well. Just make Spells cost no less than 1 mana. They've already done it to other cards, including killing the Glinda/SnipSnap combo in Wild.
As for the Card, it's OK. Kind of reminds me of Cult Sorceress.
I don't care what comes out to be honest. Can we just please make Paladin a viable choice in Standard again? Librams are a joke and Pure Paladin is utter garbage. And please, please, please get away from the Resurrection Mechanic for Priest? It's just dreadful. One viable deck (Galakrond Priest) does not a Class Make.
This Meta has bored me shitless and I haven't been able to predict my opponents cards with such accuracy since the days of Pirate Warrior in Standard.
Maybe I'm just an old curmudgeon but an awful lot of this looks like style over substance. I completely skipped last generation just one game on any platform grabbed me. I realised this when the only game that grabbed my attention was the Rare Collection on Xbox One. I damn near bought a second hand Xbox One just for that.
I'll stick with my PS3 for now. Unless something comes along that I can get my teeth into I'll skip the PS5 as well.
All those complaining that it's a storm of RnG and an absolute mess? It's supposed to be exactly that. I play Tavern Brawls to get away from the grind of Ladder and the self loathing of Arena.
It's not something you have to play (unless you are still collecting Classic Cards) it's just there as a bit of light relief. Why take it seriously? 😂
Alyx is not a Half Life game. Half Life 2 is a Half Life game. As would Half Life III be if they stopped making shit like this and concentrated on what made them the company they are today.

I've just picked up Mythgard again after dabbling with it in the Alpha/Beta phase. I'm glad they've managed to fix the iOS thing.
I genuinely did not think that a game like MTG would ever translate well to Mobile platforms.
I am intrigued if nothing else.
I got Lord Barov and Infiltrator Lilian as my free Legendaries. Not super happy with either as I don't play Rogue and Lord Barov is... OK?
As for the packs no Legendaries there but I did get three Golden Epics. So yeah.... Not bad at all.

Why? It's a Meme, nothing more and nothing less. If you unpack this you will be sad and I can't yet see a world where you would craft it.
Alongside some of the other Cards revealed so far this is easily in the bottom 3.
