As easy and quick as it is for Shaman to invoke, Dragon's Pack is extremely broken. Two 5/6 taunt minions on turn five is extremely difficult for most classes to remove. Even worse when they drop a second one on turn 6. I honestly believe the card would have been better as a single 2/3 with a +3/+3 after invoking twice. Maybe after invoking once as a vanilla 2/3 taunt for 5 is pretty anemic. Waiting to see how Blizz responds though.

Just ran across an article on PCGamer, and looks like a streamer may have leaked a new Sylvanas Windrunner hero skin on stream. No other details yet, but here's the link to the article.

Is it just me, or has the number of bugs and "technical difficulties" increased dramatically since the last expansion dropped? Can't say I really experienced any game breaking issues until SOU hit the deck. Since then, it's been at least one or two serious problems almost every time. I've only been playing a little over a year, but this is the worst state I've ever seen this game in.

Well, got home and tried with WiFi and loaded the solo adventure no problem. Got through the first phase of the Plague Lord of Murlocs and then game froze up again. Tried reloading multiple times and it never resumed my game. Tried to go back to the adventure and it froze up each time. Finally managed to get the adventure loaded only to have the Plague Lord reset back to full health. Seems like this latest update still has some bugs to iron out.

Reinstall will be my next step. At work right now and no good internet available for such a large download. Maybe when I get home it'll start working. If not, time to reinstall.

Is it just me, or is anyone else having issues going into solo mode on Android since the latest patch? Hearthstone keeps freezing up every time I try to go to solo mode on my phone. Haven't tried it on my computer yet, but definitely causing issues on Android.

I think, when it comes right down to it, even with out the Sacrificial Pact interaction, Jaraxxus is just too weak when compared to other popular decks in the meta right now. So many decks can burst down 15 points of damage quickly and easily. Literally just finished playing a Warlock running a Jaraxxus deck and my Control Warrior was still able to clear every last one of his 6/6's with little trouble. Ultimately, he just fatigued out. The value provided by the 2-mana 6/6's is really good, but still is not enough against a good control deck, can't handle a powerful aggro deck, and can be easily be taken down by a fast combo deck. It really has no good place in the meta. I don't see Blizzard changing it either. Maybe eventually they'll print some cards that'll offer more support, but generally, they're perfectly content to leave plenty of legendaries hanging with little power or support. Maybe they'll fix the interaction with Sacrificial Pact, but beyond that, Jaraxxus is unlikely to get any help.

That's the new Savior's of Uldum board. It's been out a week or so.

The biggest issue with the 25 extra ranks is that anyone with half a brain can fly through them. I started roughly a year ago and just playing occasionally, I made it through these ranks in less than two weeks. I hit the meta with little more than the basic collection and little better understanding of the game than when I'd started. One of the best things they can do is remove bonus stars and/or allow you to drop ranks during ranks 50-26. Unless you purposely lose every third game or so, you will climb those ranks right now and emerge little better than when you started.

Third wing I used Finley and filled my deck full of battlecry minions. The more powerful the battlecry the better. That and the treasure that shuffles two one cost copies into your deck each time you play a minion and the minion that destroys an enemy minion and gains twice it's attack and health. Add in some Mistcallers and the hero power that gives a friendly minion divine shield and winfury and I quickly wiped the Plague Lord of Death in one go. Only tight spot was when I had a 26/24 with windfury and he dropped a Sylvanus that I had to clear. Luckily it grabbed a little 3/1 or he would've one-shotted me next turn.

Control Shaman, I think is in a good spot right now. I've been running my own non-highlander version for a couple of weeks now and have done quite well for the most part. There's so many aggro decks fighting to dominate that a strong control deck can get quite a few wins. Shaman has so many good tools right now to control the board that it can just ruin an aggro player's day. Hagatha's Scheme, Plague of Murlocs, Earth Shock, Earthquake, Hex, Hagatha the Witch, Shudderwock, Swampqueen Hagatha... I just find that the deck is fun and interesting to play and even though I don't have the time or desire to "get gud" like they say, I have had really good success with it so far.

Had a similar problem on normal, just not as bad. Doing a playthrough with Reno and got him down to about 170 HP before he dropped C'Thun and wiped me out. When I got back again, he was at around 230 health. Got smart and chose the Hearthstone treasure and faced him a second time, knocking him down to 7 HP before after he dropped his C'Thun and left me near death. Used my Hearthstone to go back to the inn, and he was back up to 17 HP when I got to him the third time. Still a pretty easy win, but could have saved the third attempt without all the health bouncing back up.

I agree. Aggro has just become too powerful with this meta. It's now more of a contest of who can be the most aggressive. There are too many minion generating and summoning cards that can fill a board for control to really keep up with removal. Combo has almost no shot at all with all the aggro decks present. Kinda hate it because I always have preferred control.

Honestly wouldn't mind seeing Zilliax moved to standard at some point. It is one of the most flexible and best balanced cards in the game. I have lost many games because my opponent used one, but I can honestly say it has never felt oppressive or overpowered. It is a good tool and makes the game much more interesting.

What about Glinda Crowskin? If you can complete your quest and draw a big card with your upgraded hero power, she would allow you to fill your board with copies of it unless I'm mistaken.

I've run across almost nothing but Paladins today. Most of those were the quest variety with a couple of Holy Wrath Paladins thrown in for good measure. I can honestly say that the Paladin quest is insanely powerful. The high number of Reborn cards give them great value while they work to complete their quest, and then they invariably drop a Mechano-Egg and magnetize a taunt to it and then copy it to oblivion. Your only options are to clear out all their minions in one fell swoop and deal with all the 8/8's left in their wake, silence everything and hope hope they don't have any more, or somehow muster enough burn spells to take them out directly without dealing with their never ending minions. It's a very oppressive deck in my opinion, and I hope it doesn't become a problem in this meta, but I'm afraid it will. Out of more than a dozen games today, I played at least 10 Quest Paladins. There was only one that I was able to run down before he could run away with the board, and I think it was more because he didn't have a complete collection. Silence is gonna rule if this keeps up.

No screenshots, but Paladin deck with divine shield HP, Expedite, Robes of Gaudiness, and four Scaled Nightmare in deck, one with +4/+4 and +2 Mana. Steamrolled every last boss in the citadel with that one.
