I don't like the fact that Blizz just takes cards away from us in Standard and doesn't replace them for free. They could at very least make them have a discounted dust cost to craft. Anyone have a date when these cards are coming?
Any card taken from the Classic set you will have already had a full refund for (and allowed to keep the card) the ones in basic you will get for free
It makes me wonder what they mean, Northshire Cleric plus Circle of Healing is one of the best draws in the game. You have to be so careful not to overdraw and it's what makes Nomi Priest even a thing.
I don't understand the timing unless there is some powerful cards coming for Rogue and Priest in the next expansion that would make Mind Blast and Vanish OP. Mind Blast was OP last expansion, not now. Vanish is seeing play in Pogo Rogue but that's not exactly a prolific deck. There must be something coming.
I like the look of this, and I think I might already have all the cards. I'd like to give it a shot, but I'm not sure how this deck code stuff works. Anyone care to give me a crash course or point me in the right direction?
Click on the "Copy Hearthstone Code" on either PC or Mobile. That will copy the code to the clipboard.
Load up the game and go to your collection and select New Deck. You should be prompted to make a deck using the code that's in the clipboard.
If it doesn't work for whatever reason just switch windows (alt tab) and try again.
Make sure you actually go in to the deck to fix the bug and don't just click auto complete thinking it's already complete (which I did) as it does change cards in the deck for you!
Playing since K&C and I am close to my first. Mage is on 450 wins and Priest around 300 or so. Nothing else comes close to those two as all I used to play was Tempo / Control Mage and Control Priest.
Even this wouldn't be enough cards to make wild a thing for me. I didn't start playing till just after K&C so I missed far too many expansions. I shudder to think how much a wild set would cost. I have my Dragon Combo Priest in Wild and that's it for me.
No one can say 100% one way or another without seeing the match making algorithms (which we'll never have access to).
I would say it happens too often that match making works against you for it to be completely random. I lost count a long time ago of the times I tech against a popular deck and then never see it but if I remove the tech options from that deck I instantly get the deck I originally was trying to counter.
You'll get people trying to prove to you with their 'facts' but the truth is only Blizzard knows.
Moving Whizbang to Classic would mean having to update that card for as long as the game receives updates. Team 5 can barely muster up enough interest to do anything with Wild, why would they pore that much effort into a single card?
Whizzbang doesn't have it's own set of decks. Adding whizzbang to your deck just chooses one of the pre-made deck recipes (except the classic one) There would be zero effort required on Blizzards part to make it classic. They just need to continue with themed deck recipes each expansion.
To prove that, Whizzbang has already "updated" twice for RR and RoS as Whizzbang was added in Boomsday.
That's 1700 here in the UK. Longest time between desktop and mobile clients updating I have ever experienced but I've only been playing for just over a year.
Really cool idea, I did something similar last season. Got to rank 4 around half of the month and decided to try reaching legend for the first time. Instead of grinding for hours (and surely losing my temper and my concentration), I set myself the goal to win 2 more games than I lost every day for the rest of the month. So some days, I played only two games, later I had to play for two hours to make that progress of plus 2 wins from where I started that day. But in the end, it worked out: I reached legend and did so without tilting once and in a way shorter time than I expected.
So having made that experience and considering yours, that seems a really great way to play :) Because, in the end it's still a game and I dont want to walk away from it angry.
I'm going to steal that idea. I like the sound of playing to win two more games than you lose.
Do you manage it often? I can imagine myself logging in, losing three games in a row and then knowing I need to win five just to follow the self-imposed rule
A card that was only ever really played in Mecha'thun priest pre RoS. Not that much of a big deal in standard. Which decks did you see it in that are now nerfed?
Cannot get a win streak going no matter what. I swear the game is rigged right now, every deck I play my opponent seems to be the exact counter to it. Normally I get to rank 5 every season but the highest I have been is rank 8 this season.
Losing interest in the game to be honest, especially as it's oddly predictable which class I'll be matched against and what cards they will have at just the right time. I know people say it cannot be proven and match making is random but I don't buy that for a second, there is definitely something strange going on.

Please do leave, OoC doesn't need people like you.

No one going to mention the handshake? That was one of the funniest bits!

In contrast I hardly ever see it. I think I play against mech bomb hunter every other game and even they don't run it.
I have all the standard cards so I play all classes in standard but in wild I only keep Priest / Neutral Cards.
The deck incomplete glitch is happening on PC and mobile.

Perfect monitisation from a free to play game.
I can get behind these kind of value every time.
It's the Golden Version! It's advertised as the golden version on the official site.

Crap for me.
