I haven't had the chance to check this interaction for long as the build was terrible, but it seems that Paralytic Poison is considered an aura effect in Duels? I had it played on one weapon and was immune for any attack with weapons after that (even switching weapons)
Dreadsteed was nerfed to allow for Defile specifically back then. Killed the card entirely even for meme decks :(
(I guess you can say it died for Defile - and only came back at the end of turn :p)
They definitely missed the chance to give Dreaded Mount the original ability as it would've enabled nice decks in Standard whilst never seeing play in Wild due to the cost and delayed activation.
Just another thought concerning the keyword "egg":
Noblegarden is a possible explanation as it warrants an egg-type - but why wouldn't they implement treant then? Treants are a quasi-tribe with actual support (Goru the Mightree, Mulchmuncher) so this seems odd.
Ok, I didn't check for Orcs or Humans back then (don't know when the first amalgam 'hatched'), but I most definitely searched for 'eggs' and I'm almost 100% sure the amalgam(s) didn't show.
That's not proving anything, sure. But it's interesting nonetheless!
I presume that these tribes are internal ideas/concepts and won't see the light of day within a few years, but the inclusion of trolls - but not treants - is more than interesting given the support of these two 'tribes'.
TLDR: Nightmare Amalgam might spoil some minion types incoming!
When searching for "egg" for a DR hunter I noticed that Nightmare Amalgam showed up on the list - which surprised me!
I doublechecked the spelling and the flavour text but couldn't find any hits for "egg" in the card or its description. I assumed that the only way the card would show up would've been that the "ALL" minion type includes more types than are currently present in the game...
And lo and behold, Nightmare Amalgam also shows up when searching some very interesting keywords:
Elf
Undead
Human
Orc
Egg
Troll
tbc ...
Interestingly enough it does NOT show up for these keyword:
not exactly as they already implemented another term for while loops: Do x, Repeat until y. But this card has a slightly different effect per card text: "Only steal until", "not steal, then repeat"
I'm still sticking to my first assessment that this is bad coding or inconsitent card texts. (Although I understand the functionality now fully, it was not clear from reading the card)
You'd expect the card drawn by the former to be taxed by the latter, but the card was 'taxed' (the animation went of and the increased cost was shown) but then the card went back to normal (and I was able to play it at the inital cost). I'm not sure if this is a bug for Far Watch Post or a feature of Insight - I wouldn't've doubted the interaction if Insight had been corrupted.
Pretty sure this is just bad coding, as the former says 'until', but Serena Bloodfeather actually kills 1/1s. Neither attack nor health are strictly higher, nor is the overall stat-count. I still have no idea how Serena works - but I'm confident it's not intended like this :D
As I was experiencing extended downtime in any playmode, I went through all the flavour texts and noticed that there are quite a few (I might even say more than usually) lyric-inspired puns. Actually, there are so many of them that I suspect me overlooking quite a few.
Given that I still can't start a single game, I'll just post my findings and appreachiate any additions:
Generically "spamming" Well played at the end of the game as the winner. Always feels condescending when the game was neither interesting nor balanced. I feel like the Well played has to be offered by the loser to the winner which then might return the favour.
I chose Anduin, but rather out of opportunism than preference:
I mostly stop playing a class, when I hit the 1k win mark, as I then turn to another class, to get the full set of potraits
At the time, I already got Hunter. Warrior, Warlock and Shaman at 1k+ wins, Mage a few wins under
Druid and Paladin weren't that much from completing 1k, also
I liked my alternate hero potraits for Rogue (Maiev)
I didn't enjoy DH enough to play it atm
So that left priest to 'enjoy' a new portrait for the next 150 games or so. If I haven't achieved 1k wins with Rogue for the next track, Valeera will be next - otherwise I guess Illidan will get an upgrade :D
EDIT: And I figured Anduin's skin would be the rarest one ^^ #unicornpriest

Not even changing the site's name?
I just managed to get three Battleground achievements at once, the last of which I NEVER even hoped for achieving:
1) Wrath of the Windlord (Win with Al'Akir)
2) Little Fish in a Big Tavern (Win Tier 4 or lower)
3) Spicy Pretzel Mustard (Win while winning every round)
PS: Poisonous Murlocs with Divine Shield and Windfury are your friend :)

I already enjoyed former decks with a similar idea and I must say: This deck is surpringly consistent (more so than the former version).
Are there any adjustments due to the nerfs to Watch Posts?
Greatings!
I was playing around with a few priest ideas in Casual and encountered two weird interactions:
1) Insight (Non-Corrupted) + Far Watch Post
You'd expect the card drawn by the former to be taxed by the latter, but the card was 'taxed' (the animation went of and the increased cost was shown) but then the card went back to normal (and I was able to play it at the inital cost). I'm not sure if this is a bug for Far Watch Post or a feature of Insight - I wouldn't've doubted the interaction if Insight had been corrupted.

Really appreachiate the dedication (though forced in a way) - I'll definitely try some of these!

158 packs here (preorder+gold) +5 golden packs from the preorder which I do not account for here:
But I did get my Go-To Legendaries already before opening any packs as part of the preorder, so I guess I'm fine with it
Don't know anyfin about WOW, but this IS an interesting fact! Thanks! :)

Oh and playing tier 1 meta decks in casual :D
I was just playing against an ETC warrior, fully aware that I was going to lose, but hey!
I'm not salty about the loss but I have to admit that the way I lost got me a little upset:
E.T.C., God of Metal reads After a friendly Rush minion attacks, deal 2 damage to the enemy hero.
However I was given the final blow by ETC itself - with a trade that killed ETC.
I'd reason that ETC wasn't alive after the attack, so I do not understand why he procced at all.
Is this a bug or is this interaction working as intended? (I can't recall any other card that procs after it dies)

Upvoted for the utilization of "usage"
Frankly speaking: By turn 10 you either do have the combo in hand OR the time to play slow(er) and draw into it in time :D
Usually the limiting factor is rather if you already corrupted enough cards.
But I guess you can always switch out one Ooze, as Weapons are not as prevalent any more.
