I don't think this has much of a future. 10 mana, kill three minions, do nothing else seems steep. Interesting result off evolve mechanics though.  And by interesting, I mean could be amazing or could be meh.

I don't know about this one. Seems like the become a copy of mechanic is almost an add on with the silence being the main draw to it. Since it does silence the target it would have to be mainly intended for enemy minions. What would be played that you would want a 4/4 copy of? Some aura effect or deathrattle would be the prime target.

This one looks destined to become the next frustrating priest card. The corrupt requirement is simple enough and even the normal statline can help against aggro decks.

This one looks to be good. It is an odd cost card and costs low enough that it can be played the same turn other dudes come out. Wild odd Paladin gets some (unneeded) buffs here.

"For the rest of the game" effects can be either broken or just unecessary. Can you play this card in time for it to matter?

Card draw and secret synergy, this almost has to get slotted into secret mage in wild. Potentially a replacement for Aluneth with a bigger immediate payoff and less of a long term downside. I'm sure there will be some good uses in standard as well.

I've always underestimated token generators, both to hand and on board. This will probably end up better than what I expect.

Just watched a clip of Kibler run this in an evolve Shaman deck. I've always loved that archetype, so this will be one of my first cards have a go with. After trying the (new) Old Gods of course.

I haven't ever tried to do all the comments before, but now that there is a list that I can see what is left...my completionist nature almost forces me to try.

It was bad enough queuing up against a mage running all the casino spell glory, but now we have to put up with rogue doing it too? Are replays from HSReplay allowed in the forum? https://hsreplay.net/replay/9t9iqJ5Ly29c2aXqW6qJai

This expansion is killing me. I've had some of the absolute worst luck in opening packs, 86 so far and only three legendary minions. None of them have been good. I've been messing around for the first week trying to get a feel for what might be good so that I don't waste dust on unnecessary crafts, but man it doesn't feel good to win about 1/3 of my games since the new expansion launched. I'm not a bad player, I'm consistently in platinum/diamond depending on how much time I have to play in a month, I'm just very budget. The best deck I've been able to manage so far is a budget version of the druid deck, i.e. neither of the main legendaries that it typically runs. And Paladin! What a difference an expansion makes! Libram Paladin, according to HSReplay.net has zero bad match-ups. The worst win rate is essentially a 50/50 against aggro demon hunter and murloc paladin, maybe you can throw highlander mage in there and call it a close match as well. This is just a demoralizing time in HS for me. Bleck.

You will always get your first legendary in the first 10 packs. Blizzard introduced a new mechanic where the first packs of an expansion have a legendary pity timer of 10. After that it reverts to 40. I think I have typically gotten my second before the next 20 packs, but my third often feels like I get close to 40.

Edit - not sure why the reply is on this comment, it should be on the one above.

I'll be the guy who replies without an amazing luck story. I opened 65 total packs, no preorders. I bought 60 with gold and had monthly rewards plus the first day of quest packs. I only pulled 3 legendary plus the login bonus. One was on pack 3, one on pack 22, and then not until pack 61. Yep, one short of the pity timer. I've got more gold, so I may do more after opening the rest of the quest packs over the next few days.

More questions on the deck tracker. I don't see anywhere on the site with details on specific card's from a set. I only see the one page with a bar representation and a #cards owned/#cards in set. I was hoping to see the granular details. Is there something I'm missing or is that all there is?

It took me 65 packs to get two copies of all rares. It looks like you are on the same pace.

This is not a complaint thread, more of a commentary and attempt at a neutral analysis of my pack opening.

First off I need to set the stage. I am 100% free to play and typically save up at least 8k gold between expansions. My philosophy is to purchase 60 decks and use whatever freebies Blizzard hands out to form the basis of my collection. If I get close to the legendary pity timer at the end of opening those packs, I'll buy a few packs at a time until I hit the timer. This time around I already had three packs waiting from my monthly ladder rewards and I completed day 1 of the special quests to get two more packs before I opened anything.

My login reward was Infiltrator Lilian. I guess it has some promise, but it wasn't my first choice. I suspect with the Self-Sharpening Sword and Secret Passage there will be some decks out there that will make use of her.

I got my first legendary Ras Frostwhisper at pack 3, not even halfway into the first 10 timer for a new set. He looks pretty cool and I think there is some potential for a spell power mage deck to work with this.

My next one came 19 packs later, Lord Barov. I'm not too excited about this one, but who knows. Two out of my first 5 epics in this stretch were Secret Passage, so I've at least got that much nerf dust coming to me. :-)

The next one did not come until 39 packs later. I can't tell you how anxious I got waiting for that gold glow. This one I do feel good about, Sphere of Sapience should be integral for a few decks that come up. And that was the end of my notable cards. My most notable pack was having an epic show up in the same pack as my last legendary. My golden count was 9 (1 epic, 4 rare, and 4 common).

Interestingly enough, 65 packs was the exact amount I needed to get all the rare cards. I double checked using 'missing' and 'extra' searches in my collection, and I have exactly two of every rare card. I also got 12 total epic cards and the three legendary. With the epic timer at 10, that probably makes five packs the average, so I'm right on the money there. If we remove the first legendary and the first 10 cards that puts me at 2/50 which is slightly below average.

I do have some dust stored up that I can comfortably craft a few must have epic or legendary cards. I'll just be patient and wait to see which ones those are.

Anyone else care to share their experience?

Love the deck tracker support. I'll be installing that plugin as soon as I am done working for the day and start on my packs.

The theorycrafting streams are just fine. They are all speculating on possible deck combinations, but with no way to validate them. As others have mentioned earlier, it is god for those of us who aren't strong at deck building to learn the thought process on what cards might play well together. It is the early access streams that I don't watch and wish would go away.

This is how hand disruption should work, there is a chance that it whiffs. But it should be neutral, not class specific. There is no reason to even run this as long as Glide exists.

This needed to be a neutral card, not DH exclusive.
