In a vacuum? It's ok. In the upcoming meta? Busted good.
Shaman is going to laugh and laugh while we cheer for 5 days without Evolve in the standard meta. Come December 10th, I'm concerned that shamanstone will continue, if the livestream was any indicator.
Very good in any deck that runs a weapon you either want to swing with again or (if a meta ever revolves around it) gives you your weapon back after it'd been destroyed.
Cool effect, insane that it's a rare and not legendary.
I think they get collectors and die-hards to pay in, because there's no way standard players can see this (unless they are hardcore about paying for dust or filling in their collection) and say "What an excellent and logical value for me, a player who will turn 3/5 of these packs into dust in April."
Blizzard is making their money so why would they start adding value for players outside of wild? It's a cash in and limited availability triggers that dopamine for players who want to pay for this.
To be clear: I have nothing against anyone who wants to or has or will pay for this, I just don't see worthy value in it and can't fathom why it's so specifically ignoring the latest and most-hyped expansion of the whole year.
Cheap dust I guess since 60% of this bundle rotates out in 4 months, plus a quick googling with no results suggests the hero is "new" i.e. not from WoW (forgive me if mistaken) so not sure how many people want a random Treant hero?
Also, this is now 4 heroes for Druid - how about some love to the other classes that don't have many alt heroes - Hunter and Rogue? Mage too since Khadgar is unobtainable anymore
I was just talking about this with some other players I'm friends with. Hunter and rogue are stuck with base, 1000, and either a pay-for option or a hero skin tied to a defunct event for Year of the Mammoth.
Good riddance. Evolve meta was awful.
I loved the concept, but this went on WAAAAAAY too long. 1-2 weeks would have been plenty.
Seems like this will get much better in April. For now? Seems bad.
Seems bad unless a galakrond warrior becomes meta
This is the first hero I'd gladly pay for. Praying it's not tied to WoW subscription
Utterly broken good.
Allow me to copy+paste what I've said on most shaman cards revealed: shamanstone
This is a bad archetype for Paladin to pursue.
Seems like a meme, but glad to be proven wrong
Yeah, that's what shaman needed, an excellent dragon for 4-mana.
shamanstone
Running this in your deck is scary good.
Discovering this off any of the outrageous ways shaman high rolls their spell generation? Broken, busted, OP.
Extremely powerful card, worth any shaman's crafting it.

I'll say it because that's what we do here, we echo: Ship's Cannon but better! SN1P-SN4P! Zilliax!
Very nice upgrade. I expect some Towelie combos from this some time in December/January on YouTube.
Turn 1 nightmare scenario is facing a 1-drop and these come with it.

Excellent T1 pirate for the archetype.
Wonder if this brings pirate warrior back in wild, too
Deathstalker Rexxar thanks you

Ok so as a standard player, I'm looking at $25 for uh... this hero skin that is... ugly... and 30 packs, 60% of which rotate in April.
Nah, I'm good.
Try harder to support wild, Blizzard, and I'm sure a lot of player like me will reconsider offers like this.
eh, it seems ok. Fits with Dendrologist
I'm sorry, I couldn't hear anyone else on here over the BLARING SCREECH OF BLIZZARD FORCING TREANT ARCHETYPE.
That being said? Could be very good, but unless some late game treant/based build rises into relevance, this is nothing for standard
Go home, Blizzard, you're drunk.
