Does not fit in the DH play style probably, apart from that it looks solid

Obviously the replacement for Pyroblast. Power level depends on the amount of support this gets, with enough support this could be a win condition

Card draw was supposed to be one of the weaknesses of Hunter. Feels misplaced

Does not seem too strong, but one should never underestimate zero mana spells. Could easily see this in a Combo deck.

A 3/5 with built-in Arcane Explosion for 4 Mana is a pretty good deal. With spell damage even better

Wtf? My Secret Mage deck in wild is dead. Thanks Blizzard. Just hoping we see a similar card for Rez Priest (probably not as Blizz has always protected this nonsense)

Pretty awful. Which archetype would run this? Control certainly not and aggro does not want to AOE all minions also. Very narrow potential for combo decks.

I think many people overrate this card, this will only be good if you can reliably discount it imo

Looks decent, but depends on other cards a lot. Could see this in token Paladin

Utility card that wholly depends on other cards to be good, in this case holy. That being said the stats are pretty solid

Decent for Arena, but not good enough for ranked

"Much of the time spent on the development of the class was nailing the basic design that not much was spent on archetype balance."

Yes, we kind of noticed that :)

Regarding the Daily Deals I both like and dislike the idea. In MTGA this is done quite nicely with mostly card styles on discount and the occasional pack. Not sure how Blizzard will implement this. With regards to the main menu design: Yes please. The whole UI has not aged that well and needs an overhaul imo.

I play both MTGA and HS. My thoughts:

    • Economy: Not that F2P friendly but still slightly better than HS. Daily quests are easy to fulfill and there also some daily rewards on top. Just don't expect to be able to play every single deck
    • RNG: MTGA is neither better nor worse than HS in this regard imo. Both have plenty. The latest RNG nonsense example in MTGA would be Tibalts Trickery, for those who don't know: This is a high-roller RNG which can cheat out late game cards as early in turn Two
    • Overall MTGA is much more complex which can be rewarding but also frustrating from time to time

The bottom line is that much of this is subjective, so it is best to try out for yourself

Many thanks for all your work and the giveaway. You are amazing. Some feedback: While I think incentivizing people to rate all cards is great (the more the better here, swarm intelligence you know) I do not feel the same for card comments. I mean lets be honest often after 5-10 comments everything is pretty much said about a card. That justs clogs the threads and is more a liability than an asset imo. But hey thats only a minor issue from my side. Thanks for the great work.

I don't know. They seem to want to push Mage towards spell damage but the core set lacks any decent burn cards to profit from this (except Fireball). In general Mage will need quite a lot of support in the upcoming expansion imo.

What pisses me off pretty hard though is that they axed Polymorph, one of the most iconic Mage cards. Why Blizzard, just why? This was a perfectly reasonable and fitting card for Mage. Blizzard will also be missed.

I guess it all depends on the perspective. Warlock and Warrior seem to be the winners at first glance. As a mage main I feel screwed once more. Mage must be the hardest hit class as it got gutted.

    • Freeze Mage is entirely gone (yeah I know some will celebrate but they could have at least left us Frostbolt)
    • Polymorph: I mean why, just why? This was one of the most iconic mage cards and far from being OP
    • Arcane missiles: Not the biggest loss but was played in a couple of decks, especially in spell damage and as an enabler
    • Pyroblast: Could have stayed easily imo
    • Sorcerers Apprentice: The only change I can understand, will kill combo mage though (which after the Iceblock HoF was not really a thing anymore)

The new legendary indicates that they want to push mage more towards spell damage. However with no burn cards except Fireball this might end not that well. Mage really needs some good cards in the upcoming expansion otherwise it will end up trash tier.
