    Another good way to get fresh is to use another deck. I can get really inspired when trying some fresh ideas, been having great fun with a tempo mage deck based on a lot of spell damage stuff and Arcane Watcher and Unexpected Results, its nice to out-aggro those mech-hunters/mech pala's/token druids/murloc shammy's, in the time they prepare for your mountain giant on 4 they suddenly face lethal on 5. Only problem is that without Aluneth when you run out of steam it's game over, but hey, at least you can concede quickly as well. Except when Stargazer Luna suddenly turns the tables again :). Its amazing how often that card turned around the bord for me.

    Here are some tips from a seasoned losing streaker:

    * never give up

    * realise this: in a 50/50-ish game (which Hearthstone is) it is inevitable that there will be losing streaks and also winning streaks (check your math/statistic books)

    * if you feel really bad when having bad luck you'd better also feel really good when having a win streak otherwise this game will be frustrating on average :)

    * for every time your opponent draws the nuts, topdecks his only non-losing card 3-times in a row, or your own win condition is always at the bottom of your deck, know this: it happens to everyone!!

    And now press that PLAY button again.

    Well it will be nice to see a new minion on the board from rogue once in a while, all I see now is pirates, burglars, oversized van Cleef's and LOTS of irritating lackeys.

    I think any class can do this in 2 turns, say on turn 9 play one, then on turn 10 (if it survived) clone them using the copy guys. 

    Mage can first make them cost 1 mana with galaxy, then play 2 of them in one turn and copy both giving 4 on board for 20 random damage. However, I think with galaxy spell the staraligner combo is much easier to pull off for mage using ping, mountain giants conjuring etc. (I have a deck for that and it triggers more than I expected).

    I am wondering if the not being a battlecry but end-of-turn effect makes it easier to achieve?

    Please dear greatly bearded almighty fairy,

     

    my whishes are:

    1. Add a playmode for targeted matchups where both players can say what kind of matchup they are and want (aggro/control/combo-otk/mid-range etc)

    2. Find a way to make your card back more visible while playing

    3. Remove Omega Devastator or Dr. Boom from the game

    I always thought infinite combo = OTK and is acceptable iff the chance of creating the OTK is really low or takes a lot of turns to collect.

    But this all not an exact science. I would like to see some hard numbers. An OTK killing you on turn 2 is not funny I guess.

    I can see why it severely restricts design space since these cards can turn any card with health>7 into an OTK. And priest has access to cards that give more health, so this winning combo is always lurking around the corner. Combined with mechs and magnetize this becomes even more problematic. With double divine spirit and Inner Fire in hand, you only need a mech with 3 health on board and magnetize it to 8 using wargear, combo and you have more than 30 damage.

    Coupled with 0-mana silence to remove taunts I can see a lot of problems design wise.

    Warlocks can enslave demons to do good but sometimes are swallowed by the evil dimension. So I can see this go either way :)

    This coupled with the quest solves my 1-2 turn problem as mage. I am happy! All other turn 2-draw a card minions are a lot weaker than this, except maybe Thalnos.

    To be able to generate spells "for free" is very useful for mage since that means you can put more minions in your deck (for instance with spell power) that synergize with spells, and mage has a lot of those. When creating a tempo mage deck there was always the problem that you want a lot of spells but you also need the minions to give the spell power and to keep bord control, so most of the time the deck was weak to removal since once you ran out of minions to play, your bord control was gone and you had to hope for reach/swing.

    So I can see this work in a couple of decks.

    It is also a great way to generate a couple of cheap spells (costing 0 mana for instance) which can then be combined in a Antonidas turn to turn them all into fire balls.

    Then you have the obvious synergy with Questing Adventurer, Sorcerer Apprentice, Mana Cyclone they all benefit heavily from having cheap spells to play. The only downside is that you only get 1 card per turn which might be a bit slow. But if there will be a way to use your hero power more often this can easily get very powerful.

    So apart from other new spells which might be synergizing with this, I already definitely see some potential outside of the meme/fun territory.

    And with a Sorcerer Apprentice on board you can complete quest in one turn once you reach 10 mana playing both the quest and the new legendary :)

    I am wondering when this card is better than, say, a Novice Engineer. Value wise the lackey is always good value. Your hand size will remain the same which is relevant for my Mountain Giant. But if I am also looking for a specific card in my deck then Novice Engineer is better I guess.

    I think its meant to be combined with Plot Twist. So with a full hand, which you created by 3 times hero Power early on, your Plot Twist will give you an extra 9 so you only need 5 more which could be 3 turns. So I think you can have quest completed as soon as turn 7? And then you still have 20-ish cards in your deck that can be drawn for 0-cost using your hero power. If you get 2 Plot Twists early then quest can be completed even sooner obviously.

    For a general removal card its ok, like walk the plank, but most of the time the extra 1-1's in your deck will not improve it, so this card should be played as soon as possible, or as a prelude to a rafaam turn. Now zoo decks generally want to put more minions early on so my best bet is on a late game turn when rafaam will be your next card.

    Card can also generate a big board by iself using Power of Creation into Conjurer's Calling etc. 

    Or imagine 10x Pyro going into opponents face? RNG ftw.

    Due to the random nature of the card it is obviously more for fun than for value, but can still be a lot of fun I'd say.

    And I am wondering about the probability distribution here: do mage cards get a higher probability in the pool? Or is it really random over all classes.

    I want Dragon's Fury back! Now mage gets pummeled by aggro. Or I must use a 2-card combo to clear. That card was a guaranteed bord clear at turn 5 most of the time.

    I would like a queue where I can say "I want to play a x-type of deck and I am a y-type of deck" where x, y are either aggro, control, mid-range, OTK/combo.

    Other's can queue in the same way, Blizzard connects them and off we go, we always get a matchup we want. Just to practice a deck/matchup, not a ranked match but casual. How cool would that be! And much more efficient than queueing into Casual.

    I was wondering what the good classes get to compensate for the plagues cards...is there still a reason to be a good class when only the evil classes get all the good stuff?

    The meta-control deck! To control not only the aggro and the OTK decks but even all the other control decks.

    Aggro deck gets controlled by rush, board clear, infinite armor and quicksand mechanics;

    OTK deck gets controlled by destroying key cards in opponent deck (or summoning them too early) or milling opponent deck by putting utter garbage in opponent hand

    Other control deck gets controlled by...erh...all of the above?
