New The Winter War Cards for January 22

Cards are sorted in the order of their color, followed by rarity, and finally, name. Each card is accompanied by our first impressions, as well as a link to where the card was spoiled (where possible).

Corporate Confab by Noah on the Mythgard Discord

Great support for the Construct archetype... which doesn't really exists. Maybe this card is enough to make it a thing. The fairly long Persist allows this to be played when in the mid game and then still benefit from the effect a few turns later. The recently revealed Ved'ma Helicarrier and Typhoon-class Hydropolis are great with this card.

Saltwater Empousa by Mydgeworth

Fairly understated card with a very powerful effect. The effect gives you a base copy of whatever you copy, and retains the ability to transform. Very slow in it's un-Forged form, as using the Action prevents you from attacking on the same turn. Forging the cards makes it far more powerful, allowing it to transform on the turn it's played, or attack and then transform again on subsequent turns. The single gem makes it very splashable, and the effect might just make Pseudonomicon worth running.

Merry Prankster by Eolis

Merry Prankster Card Image

Good disruption card. Small chance you'll see the effect go off more than once due do the small body, unless you offer the card some sort of protection like Lurker or Armor. Fairly (ha!) simple card.
