We have some details to share ahead of today's brand new special Hallow's End Tavern Brawl. The Fairy Tale Brawl.
The brawl is known internally as the Fairy Tale Brawl and we've got a few different "plots" that take place during it. Already we're seeming thematics surrounding some kind of a play, which are about to get reinforced even harder in a moment.
We also have Stage Left, Stage Right, and Action! A good actor knows how to pull off their show With Intensity.
These cards all feel like the Karazhan Opera event which we saw in World of Warcraft and later replicated in the One Night in Karazhan adventure in Hearthstone.
In World of Warcraft, the Karazhan raid had an encounter called "The Opera Event" and each week, players would fight a different boss from a rotating pool of bosses. There was the Red Riding Hood event, the Wizard of Oz event, and finally, Romulo and Julianne. In Hearthstone's One Night in Karazhan adventure, we had an entire wing dedicated to the "The Opera" and within it we had the ability to fight all the different encounters in a row, which lined up to its World of Warcraft inspiration.
Although Romeo and Juliet is definitely not a fairy tale, unless you wanted to give your kids a scare, the former two definitely fit the bill and could be seen as an inspiration for this Tavern Brawl. This week's new brawl is giving us a fresh opportunity to turn on the stage lights in an Opera event, one which shares the name naming as the Fairy Tale Skin Bundle.
Other details on how everything is going to play out isn't exactly crystal clear, as there are no code references to the Brawl so everything is going to play out from server-side, but we're going to assume it'll be here for years to come so let's hope it's a good Brawl!
