A new season of ranked ladder started in Master Duel, and this one brings a brand new rank with it! Diamond goes right above Platinum, and has 5 tiers, just like the other ranks in the game. Reaching Diamond 5 will grant you 200 Gems, and reaching Diamond 4 through 1 will net you 100 Gems each.

Once players reach Diamond 1, they'll no longer be able to be demoted, a fact that should no longer apply to Platinum 1. There's also a new Diamond Icon Frame that players earn once they reach the rank. Other than that, not much has changed. At the start of a new season, players are demoted to the lowest tier of the previous rank.
