The mini-set launch is almost here! In anticipation we've prepared a selection of Duels decklists, so you can give the new cards a try in either Casual or Heroic Duels as soon as they are available. In total we're showing off 5 different decks, including Demon Hunter, Hunter, Mage, Shaman, and Warrior.

Fel-OTK Demon Hunter

With the new inclusion of Fossil Fanatic, this Spell School based deck received improved draw power. Despite the recent nerf, this puts Multi-Strike into new glory, since it can give you a second Fel-draw in the same turn!

This does not change the underlying theme the deck is based on: For the first Tier of Passives we are looking for Wither the Weakor Coil Casting to give us a decent boos, whereas Tier 2 yields the essential Corrupted Felstone.

Turns out Lady S'theno is an absolute monster combined with handbuffs, especially when it sits alone in your hand, getting +4/+4 for every Fel Spell cast. You can count yourself lucky when you find another copy in one of the Naga buckets.

Alternatively, Mo'arg Outcast is still a deadly tool combined with Twin Slice or Fury. Just make sure not kill it with the second cast of an Eye Beam!

Naga Questline Hunter

Now with even more reach, Hunter received Ancient Krakenbane, tying together the Spell-spam the Questline is known for and the magic loving Naga.

This is one of the archetypes that has been overshadowed by the multi-class Heroes, in this case Brann. When you get the chance, also try it out with an extra side of Warrior cards, like Iceblood Garrison and Minefield.

Next to Coil Casting this archetype can also make good use of Book of Wonders and Mysterious Tome. Unfortunately there are no guaranteed Tier 2 Passives for this deck. Regardless, some notable ones are Cloak of Emerald Dreams, Idols of Elune, and Khadgar's Scrying Orb.

Out of all starting Treasures Slate's Syringe is the closest fit. Even without any actual Beasts in the deck, Wound Prey, On the Hunt, and Naga's Pride can fill that role.

Arcane Waygate Mage

We are going on another quest, but this time we warp (heh) back all the way to Un'Goro's Open the Waygate. Thanks to Submerged Spacerock, there's another cheap way to generate Spells.

But messing with time itself wouldn't be fun on just a single occasion. That's why we are packing Embercaster, Grey Sage Parrot, and Queen Azshara to repeat our turn over and over.

In terms of Passives, we got our eyes set on Arcane Flux for Tier 1. Recently the Tier 2 counterpart, Unstable Magic, has been delegated to Ultra Rare.

The many discovers can quickly stack up in a decent run. So keep in mind to potentially hold on to an Echo of Medivh or two, granting you even more bonus turns.

Murloc Shaman

A strong contender even before the mini-set, Murloc Shaman received two more fishy friends to include. Of the two we believe that Clownfish will have a bigger impact, although Tidelost Burrower is also great.

As with any tribe oriented deck, the first passive will be run-deciding. Nothing comes close to the strength of Cookie's Ladle. Meek Mastery and Rally the Troops would be some of the more useful second Passives to find.

Even if it kinda defeats the purpose, don't hesitate running this exact list with Finley when given the chance! Paladin's Hydrologist messes with bucket selection, so the only change would be Power Up! and Maxwell, Mighty Steed.

Taunt Quest Warrior

No Guts, No Glory Card ImageAuto-Armaments Card Image

As a questionable last entry, we finish with Fire Plume's Heart Warrior. Igneous Lavagorger is a fresh and efficient Taunt Minion that fits right in.

The deck might struggle to get early wins, but the pay off lies after the third game. Once we get to pick Endurance Training, the mana cheating shall commence! At that point it might even be best to mulligan the quest, as the early swarm of cheap taunts should do most of the bidding.

Hold the Line is another thematic Passive, but compared to other Tier 1 Passives it falls short. Turns out some Passives are even more Passive than others.

On another note, the archetype does a good job connecting all the little bits of Taunt support the Class has received over past expansions, like Armagedillo and Glory Chaser.
