This card is hard to evaluate because priest simply dont play midrange, and tend to suck at it. The only midrange deck that priest plays is arguably big priest, and that's a mostly exclusive wild deck.
But here's the thing. This card thins your deck by 4, and built correctly you can present a dangerous enough board to that'll allow you to threaten lethal even if they get board wiped. And being a highlander deck means you'll be playing plenty of targets, as opposed to just being a pure control deck.
That said, this card is at present a maybe. There's no way to truly evaluate it without seeing the entire set, though I suspect team5 would push hard to make it work somehow.
This sounds good in a deathrattle heavy deck. Not sure how strong highlander plus deathrattle will be. Of course if that's what you're going for you'd prefer 4/1 stats, though that might be too broken.
I don't know, a card like this makes you want to run only minions that are good to summon 4/4 copies of, but then you can only run one copy of each or it won't go off. An 8 mana 5/5 needs to be more consistently good, and a legendary at that.

This reminds me a lot of the recruit mechanic.
Can you use this Elise with Thunderbringer to pull the original copy of itself and Ragnaros the Firelord that might've been in your deck? yes.
But not consistently.
