No difference between heroic and normal act v

Submitted 4 years, 10 months ago by

Anyone else feel like there's barely any difference between normal and heroic last 4 bosses in act 5? Maybe I'm just bad, but I regularly get my ass handed to me on normal and heroic at about the same rate. Vargoth is especially nutty. Please tell me I'm not crazy

I haven't played normal enough to really assess that, but the heroic versions are running different decklists (except for Norroa, oddly) and Kalec and Khadgar do get a mana discount on their hero power.

What may colour the experience a little is that most of the trashy decks are weeded out before the 8th encounter, especially in heroic. If you're facing the final four with a busted deck then you've probably got good odds even if they cheat a little more.

I didn't even realize they ran different decklists. I will have to check into that. Or my maybe my bucket picks are just poor. Thank you for your reply.

with other adventures you are only fighting one boss at a time, and you can change your deck to beat that spesific boss. so the heroic bosses need to be easier because you cannot edit your deck to fight them spesifically, and you fight eight in a row. this is probably why the Heroic mode feels underwhelming.
