Suicide Menagerie Warlock

I've been experimenting with different Menagerie decks quite a bit and have had this deck idea on my mind for a while.  Warlock doesn't have much for Menagerie support, but most of what it does offer has one thing in common; self-damaging effects. Seadevil Stinger, Duskbat, Chittering Tunneler and Deathweb Spider.

To fully take advantage of Seadevil Stinger's Battlecry, the deck uses a Finja, the Flying Star package with Old Murk-Eye, 2 Murloc Warleaders and 2 Nightmare Amalgams.  Even if it takes a large chunk of your health, including the most expensive playable Murlocs lets you reach maximum tempo and mana cheating with Seadevil Stinger.

For Beasts, Hench-Clan Hogsteed has become a staple for Menagerie decks and I like to include Gentle Megasaur since it's a Beast with Murloc synergy and serves as another buff to the Amalgams summoned by Hench-Clan Hag. I had originally planned to include 2 Deathweb Spiders as well, but after looking at the card again I thought "Wait a minute, this is just a conditional Bloodworm with +2 Health! Why the hell is this thing an Epic?!" and elected to conserve my dust, opting to include Lesser Amethyst Spellstone as a source of healing instead. I originally had 2 Duskbats in the deck, but wasn't too impressed with the results, so I cut one out and included Floating Watcher as a potential snowball card in the mid to late game.

Dragons are where this deck falls flat a bit.  There honestly aren't that many good neutral Dragons for a Menagerie deck that don't require a more Dragon heavy deck to work.  Faerie Dragon is my default go-to Dragon for Menagerie decks and I usually include Twilight Guardians as well but didn't use them here because I wanted to fit more cards in.  Because of this, the deck relies on Amalgams to fill the Dragon slot.

I did not include Zoobot because there are no Tribal 1-drops in the deck, so it is unlikely to get more than 1 buff out of it on curve.  I also did not include The Curator because Kobold Librarian and Life Tap keep the hand filled well enough on their own and he kinda felt too slow.

The full suicide approach wasn't really working out, so I've gone for a more Zoo-like style that's been performing better.  I swapped the Flame Imps for Emerald Reavers to keep the 1 mana Duskbat trigger and have a 1 mana beast.  I've also added a [Hearthstone Card (Swamp Leach) Not Found] so the deck has a bit of healing. Because there are now Tribal 1-drops I have included Zoobot.

Grim Rally has been added to give the deck another board buff and it works well with all the tokens summoned from Duskbat, Hench-Clan Hag and Hench-Clan Hogsteed.

Interesting. I will check back on this deck after the next expansion. As I am very interested in the Diseased Vulture.
