So this whole idea came about for two reasons:

1. Back in Darkmoon Faire times, I was trying to make a Bird Priest deck work with a C’Thun, The Shattered finisher. It didn’t work most of the time but it was quite fun to annoy the opponent even if the big eyeball-y boy didn’t come down.

2. I thought that Purified Shard kind of looked like a French fry, and was tickled by the idea of a Bad Luck Albatross swooping down and grabbing and/or eating it. (Mostly this image. This is the impetus behind this all.)

This is your standard Bird Priest deck, modeled after Roffle’s latest version he played on stream with some substitutions to work more towards the questline completion. The gameplay first and foremost, besides not dying, is to jam as many damn birds into the opponent’s deck as humanly possible to bring their gameplay to a halt…hopefully. Along the way, you play cards that both support the annoyance package while also advancing the questline further. So far in some light testing, I have been very pleased with the initial version of the deck and will look to keep playing it and tweaking. In particular, I’ve found that Dead Ringer into Bad Luck Albatross into something like Hysteria or a discounted Mass Hysteria has felt very good and happened more often than not.

I can write a full guide later, but off the top of my head the 6-drop spot is the most awkward. Lightshower Elemental is in there because it just seems like a good deathrattle minion and source of healing both by itself and when stacked into the Xyrella, the Devout battlecry. Cornelius Roame has served not as the quest completing 6 drop but as a source of late game burst draw to try to get me to the shard immediately once it is shuffled.

And I just gotta say…Xyrella may be my favorite of the hero cards now. Not only cause I pulled her in gold but because the deathrattle-wock effect is very funny to me when it is stuffing 30-odd birds into the opponent’s deck while basically Reno-ing yourself back up to full.

Full guide to come, hope someone out there has fun with it! Improvements are more than welcome!
