INTRODUCTION

Hello there! I'm Esparanta, an inquisitive Wild player who likes to tinker with different ideas. Today, I'll show how to reforge a stolen cutlass as deadly and paralytic as possible.

GAMEPLAN

This deck is based on Thief archetype, with Yoggs and Tess as boss cards. So, let's have a look at important cards one by one to understand the deck better:

  • Potionmaster Putricide: He's very good at supplying Yoggs. Occasionally, he can generate Thief cards with his Hazy Concoction for Tess.
  • Shadowjeweler Hanar: If started with Cheat Death, there are some options you can do it...
    • You can play non-Rogue Secrets for Tess, so that she can cast again later on.
    • If you have Spectral Cutlass equipped, play non-Rogue Secrets to increase its durability.
    • Play as much Secrets as possible to increase spell counter for Yoggs.
    • Play as much different spell schools of Secrets as possible to draw lots of cards from Multicaster. If not interrupted, you can find any spell school Secrets except Fel and Nature.
  • Cheesemonger: Like Trade Prince Gallywix, your aim is to get spells from your opponent to boost Yoggs and Tess. This duo will surely sweat off players who plays spell heavy decks.
  • Queen Azshara: You have three options to choose...
  • Educated Elekk: Punisher for spell heavy decks. Any spells shuffled will contribute Yoggs later on, provided that you play them. Even better if your opponent isn't Rogue, meaning that those will be valuable for Tess as well.
  • Shaku, the Collector: A sticky Hallucination that isn't one-time use. Better than Blink Fox.
  • Door of Shadows: Hope you'll get lucky to hit The Sunwell or Academic Espionage.
  • Spectral Cutlass: Now that you know how to generate cards beneficial to this beloved cutlass, you just need two cards to play and one-shot one-kill minions. Why play more poisons or oils for more hassle and potentially sacrifice board when you can...
  • Other thief/spell generator cards I didn't mention, those were picked up carefully if you face up Rogues. Since Pirate Rogues are a thing, even if you face them, cards generated from these will contribute your cutlass and Tess.
  • Togwaggle's Scheme: Shuffle more of Tess and Yoggs, if applicable.

That's all you need to know to sharpen up your cutlass. Let me know how it works out for you. Have fun in Wild format!
