Seems crazy good to fend off aggro. It's always Demon Hunter that gets the best cards, isn't it?
why not use echo?
this is just an echo card..
Too much mana for such an effect seems clunky. if you want to deal 2 damage aoe you have the card that deals 1 dmg twice for 2.
Incredible against aggro. Fantastic card all around. Throw Glaive also really seems like a echo card. (And considering twitch chat was spamming echo keyword related things, i'm probably not the only one that noticed that.)
Standard: Will surely see play in Soul DH. Helps them deal with aggro decks.
Wild: ODD DH might run it, BUT probably only 1 copy tech card. This is so they can counter other aggro decks and mirrors.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
Even if Echo was a standard keyword and everyone new to hearthstone knew what Echo meant, it's not the same effect as Echo. Echo is not conditional, whereas this is. Wording it as "Deal 2 damage to a minion. If it dies, this gains Echo." would be incorrect since the generated copy will summon another copy in your hand only if it also kills a minion. I really cannot think of a clean wording that works with Echo.
A very flexible removal tool against a wide board. I don't think this will be played in every Demon Hunter deck, but if we see a lot of people playing a lot of small minions, this will be a staple.

That seems super good, really lets you keep the board clear in the early game and can wipe wide boards later. For sure in Control DH, unsure about other lists though.
I wasn't able to tune in for the stream. Did they clarify what "temporary" means? Is it like echo, and can you keep doing it if you keep killing a minion?

I think this is a great option for a DH control which I always wanted to make.
You can erase swarm boards or just remove 1 threat, nowadays good 1 mana removals deal 3 damage, but in DH you can always face something with 1 attack.
Not a bad mid-late game swarm killer
I'm not sure this card will see a lot of play: the two decks I can see that could run this are Soul DH, in which this card faces competition from, in my opinion, the best AoE in the game right now, Shardshatter Mystic, and control/ big demon DH, which currently doesn't exist.
Rating cards on coolness factor rather than predicting power because I like screwing up rating averages (and because I suck at predicting real power levels, but we'll ignore that LUL)

Its a flexible removal card like Twin Slice that can't reach face, which wouldn't really matter sometimes.
Basically dilutes the pool of 1 mana cards. Otherwise, its just not going anywhere. I like the idea, but in most cases, Twin Slice is more than enough to include in a deck.
It's not the same as echo, you have to kill a minion everytime for the echo to trigger.
And blizzard would've never used echo on a card outside of Witchwood, sadly
SN1P-SN4P this is quite the dumb rule if anything the tooltip is in the card this is a conditional echo.. and should have echo cause echo has the ruling it can't cost less than 1 which is important for duels..
This card just makes DH so much better against other aggro/token/zoo decks, insane

Good against token decks, can clean a board completely
Oh, it's almost sort of pseudo-Echo. The wording is a bit weird, but it does make the most sense with the card. It's really good against a board full of small minions as it's essentially an Arcane Shot with Echo at that point.
Good tool against Anti-Aggro, but otherwise it's lackluster as a card.

Wipe the board granted its small and you have 7+ mana anti aggro tool for sure
Self proclaimed good at battlegrounds
The conditional echo effect basically makes this a pseudo 2 damage AoE. The thing is, if you're looking for a 2 damage AoE, why not run Immolation Aura instead? It would be consistently cheaper than the mana you'd have to spend to remove three or more 2-health minions.

Fun card for cards that benefit from Outcast. If they have a board of low health minions, this can go off!

I'm not sure why the didn't use echo. They talk about consistency and then are not consistent.
While appealing as a flexible AoE, it does fall a bit short if the board just so happens to be just slightly too healthy to get combo-wiped by throw glaive.

Conditional echo with the 'if it dies' requirement. This and pen flinger could be a frustrating combo.
Unfortunately, common sense isn't as common as it should be.
Feels really good, especially considering Demon Hunter already runs Pen Flinger (which synergizes like gangbusters with this), as a cheap way to remove your opponent's board. Obviously, a huge downside that you don't get it back if you don't kill the thing it hits but I am cautiously optimistic this card works its way into Souls builds.

I LOVE the flavour on this card, it's probably my favourite one from the set along with Tickatus
I'll be running this at least until I manage to clear a full board with it. After that, who knows - it'll depend on the meta probably, since you need a good number of targets for it to be worth including.
