New Hunter Minion - Dun Baldar Bunker

Well, decent draw for Hunter, maybe Secret Hunter will be a thing again!

Wow, thats amazing! Tutorred DRAW in HUNTER, Mana Cheat AND secret support. Secret Hunter might actually make a comeback thanks to Dun Baldar Bunker! And i think even other hunter decks might just run it, because its tutorred draw AND some hunter decks like to just include a few secrets. As long as you run 3-4 secrets in your deck, running 1 copy of Dun Baldar Bunker might be worth it. And i bet that in Wild it will be very good in Secret hunter or Highlander hunter decks with a bunch of secrets. ALSO now im talking about wild: you have to PLAY the secrets, which means you will replay them with Zul'jin.

The only problem i see with Dun Baldar Bunker (And the other objective cards) is that it's "X mana do nothing". Luckely Dun Baldar Bunker is only 2 mana, but still it's technically "do nothing" for one turn. But i feel like the mana cheat makes up for it. Still it does need some more support, but i'm pretty certain that we will see Secret hunter support. Otherwise i'm pretty sure they wouldn't have given Dun Baldar Bunker this effect.

However one last thing to note is that almost all of secret hunters support is in the Darkmoon set, which rotates next expansion. So it needs some good support in order to last longer than only 1 expansion.

Midrange hunter support card. Given that it draws 3 cards, its always going to be a consideration one way or another. There's not much to say, because this is just draw options and hunter needs draw, staggered or otherwise. Its basically like running any other draw option, except this one is more bang for buck, assuming you can keep alive to take advantage of it.

Of course, if the quality of secrets ever reaches the same point as Wandering Monster, then it might well be inserted into every hunter bar the most face-smorcing build.

The good thing is the mana cost, at just 2 mana doesn't hurt that "spend mana on nothing" as the other cards with the same mechanic.

This is exactly the kind of Hunter card I was looking forward to. Straightforward archetypal support that doesn't just automatically make Face Hunter better but allows for actual variety.

Let's hope there's some good secrets in the set as well.

It's card draw (and mana cheat) in Hunter, which is always good. The only problem is that the secret pool at this moment isn't great. Hopefully hunter gets a good one this set.

Tutored card draw is always a good thing. If you put that in a class that typically doesn't have good draw engines it should turn into something very reliable. This looks like a very solid card.

Arena: Only draftable if your deck already includes some secrets, but even then it's far from guaranteed that you draw Dun Baldar Bunker before you draw your secrets.

Standard: 2 mana tutor 3 is great. On top of that, all secrets will cost one less as well. The only downside is that the draw comes with a major delay. My bet is that it's still worth it to include Dun Baldar Bunker as long as secrets are viable.

Wild: In Wild this has to compete with Subject 9, which is better in the card draw department, and Cloaked Huntress, which is better in the discount department. Maybe you run Dun Baldar Bunker alongside these two, but I don't think you want to play it instead of these two.

This makes me wonder about it's use in Standard.  But in Wild this will be amazing.  Spell Hunter, Even Hunter, Face Hunter.  In a class that has always struggled with good and efficient card draw, this is giving you 3 pseudo draws.  It's hard to not like this card

Being able to thin your deck for three turns is really strong.. Probably isn't good enough for constructed play, but this could finally make for a new Duels archetype for Hunter. 

This is very very good. Draw 3, 1 mana secrets! Interesting deck building, annoying to play around, even a thought to use it to draw explosive traps for Quest Hunter. 

It's no Phase Stalker, which is unfortunately what it needs to be in order for it (and by extension secrets) to be playable. The upside is that just by playing one copy of this, you're drawing most of the secrets Hunters usually are willing to put into their decks.

This isn't a minion. This looks to be the best of these lasts 3 turns cards I've seen so far. You don't have to do something else on the same turn to get the full effect. Thankfully this isn't in Mage where secrets cost 3 mana. That and Mage doesn't need more card draw.

2 mana draw three with some cost reduction. Seems incredible.

Petting Zoo is still in Standard, and this gives that style of deck enough Secrets to play cheaply into a Zoo turn. Probably too slow, but this gives me hope that we see a new Hunter Secret either in Alterac VAlley or the mini-set, so that's fun.

I wonder what kind of broken secret will be released together with Dun Baldar Bunker? I mean, the card is insane but the Hunter secrets in standard are not.

Can't go wrong with tutoring that also gives discount and long lasting effect!

Discount and draw on one card is usually very good the problem is hunter didn't want to play spells that are not direct top deck damage. Hopefully that will change. 
BTW: They missed the opportunity to call it North/South. How do we know which one to cap here!?

No more secret synergy!  Gaaah I hate hunter secrets with a passion.

Very powerful delayed draw for 2 mana and 3 turns, it's very strong imho

Secret Hunter seems pretty good, and tutoring for specific decks is always awesome. Feels like a one-of though, because you have to run a lot of Secrets to consistently get value from two of them, especially if you're also pulling Secrets in other ways.

Auto include in Secret Hunter, even if it is kind of slow. Tutor effects are always worth considering.

Doesn't seem too bad, since it draws 3 cards and reduces costs by 3 mana. Should see play in more mid-oriented decks.
