I guess it works with the new handsize legendary but the damage doesn't seem to be enough to effective enough to clear the minions on the board. It can also effect your own minions, which often isn't a good thing.
Not impactful enough I fear. I kind of wish, that Soul Juggler from the Battlegrounf woud take the epic slot. He would fit nicely with Galakrond's hero power. A shame...
It seems like a bad hellfire at first glance but considering you can play both cards in a control deck makes it probably viable, dont like the fact that is an epic tho
This is a good way to take care of Aggro Opponents while playing a Handlock deck. Dealing 9 damage to your opponents early game on turn 4 is pretty good!
In truth not even close to dealing as much as Volcano most of the time which is why it costs 2 less and has no overload. Still it's never a good idea to underestimate board clears. This particular one seems to me like it's more suited to dealing with 2 or 3 fairly small minions instead of a full board.
Usually 1-damage machine gun spells (Like Arcane Missiles or Avenging Wrath) will only add one additional missile per spell damage.
However, spells like Greater Arcane Missiles that deal more than one damage have the spell damage added to each missile (which gives the same overall damage result, but with a different spread)
This is a 1-damage missile spell, but the number of missiles is being determined by the amount of cards in hand, meaning that in theory, spell damage should boost the base damage of each missile by one, making it extremely efficient.
However, since this is Blizzard we're talking about there's no way of knowing how it actually ends up working.
Like you said, pretty sure spell damage will make increase damage of the meteor, while the hand size will determine the number of meteors
The real question is if spell damage is worth running at all, since the targets are random, you might kill your own minion before doing any extra damage on your opponents side of the board

A similar effect to Volcano, but it can come out a bit earlier. I feel like this serves more or less the same function as Hellfire and will probably see play just for being an efficient early board clear.
Every time you play it on curve you'll kill a minion. It also could remove larger minions mid game. A great card to play in decks with Valdris Felgorge. Also a great addition for Warlock in general.
a bad board clear, it can hit your minions and it's too weak even if you have the hand full after you played the new legendary of warlocks, you still gonna deal 11 damage, and that's the best case scenario on the normal it deals 6 damage, i only see this seeing play on a control lock who plays on a aggro meta and i still don't think this is gonna be good.

Weak board clear, even when your hand is full. When its empty this is joke. If you find it in your packs dust it and return to good old Hellfire.

cheap volcano most off time it be more than 6 damage so nice
Cool card, not sure if handlock, the deck it caters to, will want it though.
Handlock fun
worst than spreading madness, it was 9 damage garanteed
I wonder how it interacts with spell damage.

In handlock it can be almost as good as Volcano but cheaper, solid board clear.
Could be an efficient board clear against some decks. Might be ok

That's the second card that put shadow bolt into limbo this set. In handlock, it's basically shadow word whatever. Pretty good.
Edit : didn't pay enough attention to the word random... Bad. Very bad.
