Update(-s): As has become our little patch day tradition, I've been adding more sections (on Constructed Hearthstone, In-Game Messaging Options, Heroic Brawliseum, etc.), updating the existing ones with more context, developer quotes, and images, plus the overall extra polish. And will likely continue to do so as this month comes to an end.

It's always quite hectic on the patch days when we don't really have full information on everything until we've been able to scour the game client, social media, and actually play some games. You never know what might come up when Blizzard's communications sometimes resemble trying to collect and fit various puzzle pieces.

P.S. And the dust refunds were apparently active for the extra ~24 hours. Gotta love the random extensions.

Looks like Sottle is already on it for the Brits, and after seeing reports from Brazil and other places in the world, the issue seems fairly widespread. Of course that's not even mentioning that skins apparently cost 150 runestones, so having to buy the 500 bundle for them wouldn't quite add up.

That certainly does defy the usual logic where you can often/always expect a discount for purchasing things in larger quantities all at once. I probably shouldn't be surprised they are bad at conversion rates for anything that isn't USD, as Blizzard has never cared to adjust their prices to various regional specifications. Still, this could be also worth reporting somewhere official.

I'm in the same boat when it comes to Runestones (didn't even look how that applies to my local currency, it's not great with dollars and euro as is), they'd need to start offering far more generous deals to tempt me further.

They already seem to be aware of it at the very least. Annoying to be sure.

I find that whole nomenclature just plain confusing, only further muddying the waters. Their Rare and Legendary skins (but not Epic), and arbitrary distinctions between the two types.

So it would seem that the dust refunds are still active for the time being (it took restarting the client once to avoid the bug not showing any). Always nice to see a little extension.

As far as we've heard, this is just a visual bug (the bonus XP still applies even if it's not being displayed).

Ahh, now who to root for.

Hah, I wouldn't call most of them nearly as divisive. This rivals the controversy and outrage of the original Rewards Track implementation.

Oi, are these quips really necessary? Usually a slippery slope.

TinTin, people took some umbrage with the "bronze players" comment, because it's really not the bronze casual players (who often just play, have fun, mind their business) complaining on Twitter or Reddit. It's more like your very invested hardcore crowd, lots of Legend holders. Make of that what you will.

Now not liking the direction of nerfs or whatever else in terms of balance is anyone's right and a fair argument, but that's different from the direction this took. With these changes it often seems like something will annoy one person while pleasing another.

That's a good point! I've also added a detailed note about this at the end of the 'Card Nerfs' section. If maximizing your dust collection is the main goal, then not crafting the Wildseed cards you don't own is the way to go - as then you still have 2 weeks to be able to pull them from packs and disenchant for full value. This can't be done if you craft them outright, as then the duplicate protection will have kicked in. Choices, choices.

Awh, that is a bummer. Probably to be expected with the way their quest system works, but it sure would be nice if it could do a retroactive check for Noz's monthly completion and then grant it later if it was missed.

Oh? Consider me very surprised if that's going to last, although so far I haven't heard any talk about solutions and measures. As Careidina mentions, have to wonder whether it survives for the next patch or two. But fingers crossed, it's nice to get an unexpected free gift.

Been watching this situation and updating accordingly, here is where we are at for the time being - Guff still not banned, returning player decks issues not all resolved, Arena changes *should* be live, bug fixes *are* live.

    It's a strange in-between state, no doubt.

Just to note that we've been updating this article since its publication, in case you've missed it - especially the buff section towards the end. There's been some more 'leaks' regarding these other buffs to Demon Hunter and Rogue (yes, Edwin isn't the only one).

Update: Plus a handful of Battlegrounds changes some players caught within that short window.

No, the bug still seems to be there. And they haven't even addressed it through any official channels.

In theory, but in a meta where Theotar, the Mad Duke exists, it's also quite a tell. And it can be hard to justify dropping a 3/3 with Divine Shield if you are facing strong tempo board on the opposing side. But still a handful of folks using Taelan presumably for the reason you mention.

Update(-s): Been adding a few decks here and there, from the likes of Habugabu, Thijs, Bunnyhoppor, etc. Mainly something extra for Thief Rogue/Priest enjoyers. Might throw in a couple more later; we'll likely turn our attention to another larger compilation once the 1st week of Castle Nathria is fully over.

That's an impressive ratio, well done!

I always suspected you might be from the future, as at the moment of your post it wasn't even 4 full days with the set! I know, I know, who would be keeping such an exact count.

Some solid points. I still can't believe we've gone two full expansions without Wildheart Guff getting hit. Nightcloak Sanctum feels like so much value for so little. I didn't have time to play enough with imps or against imps to see what the hype was all about.

In a way, Prince Renathal has certainly made the whole deck compilation business trickier than it used to be. And now there is always that question of whether it actually improves any of the existing archetypes compared to their 'base' 30-card versions, which only seems to encourage players to keep testing.
