@dapperdog, I don't blame them, there are plenty of people that seem to think everything out of an OTK or a Fatigue deck is aggro. But you are a 100% right. Especially concerning Spell Druid, if anything it is a board based combo deck. It wants to assemble the right pieces then kill you in a turn or two. I do want to add that priest generation of random crap is effectively knocking out all other control decks, except for Control Lock, which is just a bad deck to begin with and without Tickatus would also lose to priest.
Scorpid -> Palm Reading -> Renew -> Raise Death -> Scorpid.. etc is so much fun.. Priest is such a degenerate greed deck. Its like killing someone with fucking tweezers.
Non of the decks have a really high winrate over all the ranks. This is clearly a balance patch to attack some of the problems people have with with not enjoying the game. Saw a tweet a while back from one of the Vicious syndicate guys who mentioned no class had ever so many t1 concedes as priest, even more than old quest rogue. As for spell druid its clear a nerf directed at getting such a massive early game advantage that you almost certainly win. (Btw according to HSreplay Spell Druid has a higher winrate than face hunter, not by much though)
The problem with priest is that instead of it being an unfun 5 turn game, it is a unfun 20 minute game where the opponent spends 90 seconds generating random answers
I will be completely honest here. The difference between Face Hunter and Priest is that you will atleast lose quickly when you lose. Its a deck that is very quick with its path to victory. Also Priest is a lot more common in legend.
The problem with priest is, it just keeps on generating healing, removal and more discover cards seemingly endlessly, while sitting through a 40 minute game of priest discovering shit it gets frustrating really fast. "oh lets hope the priest didn't discover a 5th Apo/ Soul Mirror/ Hysteria etc
Now this is just personal for me ofcourse, but no deck in this game has ever made me want to play the game less than discover priest. Unfortunately on my local meta there are a lot of them.. I just do not want to deal with them. Plenty of times whenever I play against Priest I just exit the game. It is such an excruciating unfun experience.
I don't think this is a control problem either, I don't mind control decks, but just infinitely generating crap without a real win condition is such a toxic gameplan

This is such a narrative I have unfortunately seen so often. I have seen decks been clasified as aggro not because they are actual aggro decks, but because they use the word aggro to demean the deck and the players.
Its good they bad a card thats problematic in wild but not in standard.
The latest mage skin, her "You are so clever" has such a delightful sarcastic undertone
53% winrate, honestly isn't to bad. This seems quite balanced actually.

I agree this was bound to happen. If not with this card, then with the next. There are just to many possible things that can break the game easily.
