You just stall with removal and non-combo pieces until you can do the combo like any other etc control warrior. I will look to see if I can make it better when more cards are revealed.
Patient Stab isn't much of a secret. There is no way for the enemy to play around it because it is automatically triggered next turn. It would be better as a minion or spell. Start of your next turn isn't a secret effect because there is no way for the enemy to trigger it.
Great core set though, my only other criticism is a nerf to Zilliax I think magnetic is too broken in a mech meta especially with lifesteal without lifesteal maybe not.
That sounds like a pretty common story actually. Long-time Hearthstone player comes and tries out Legends of Runeterra and they never go back to Hearthstone again
Funny, because I hear mostly the opposite of that where people are playing LoR for like a month, and then go back to HS because they find it more fun. I guess it depends on where you hear those opinions.
I tried LoR I liked it but I invested so much into Hearthstone that I don't want to let the money go to waste and stop playing. That's why they make their stuff overpriced. Hearthstone is a bit more fun though LoR can feel tedious at times but its right up there with Hearthstone.
Also I'm a lot better at deckbuilding in Hearthstone and understand the game way better than LoR so that's another reason I'm sticking to Hearthstone
But if I see a good deck that I like in LoR I'll switch back to it for a bit.
A mode where we have access to all cards. It would be nice if it was against other players but to be fair I will say strictly against friends.
I know Blizzard wouldn't really want a mode like this because it could possibly kill some pack sales but it would be really nice to have.
There wouldn't have to be any battlepass, class, achievement, or quest progression for this mode so players would just play it occasionally and not play it more than ladder or other modes you would want to make purchases for.
There are decks that people have never gotten the chance to play and would really like to including myself and can't do so because of the steep prices or not having enough dust to play everything you want, so a mode like this would really make players enjoy the game even more.
Runeterra is the best out of those hands down. Then magic. Mythgard is just too aesthetically unappealing for me. Runeterra is backed by Riot games so they have tons of money to improve their game like Blizzard.
Exactly it's broken. Drawing cards every turn, pushing face every turn, lifesteal, silence, aoe. Not to mention the otk is just played straight out of hand.
How would you clown? You have to tutor it but you can't tutor it because you will just draw your 10 mana cards that you need to corrupt it. It would be a very slow combo.
That's just nature of Hearthstone they don't put too much effort or creativity into their modes just rng
3 more weeks? :(

You can play around Plagiarize pretty easily but yeah good point
oops
Still a bad design to have a start of your turn secret in my opinion it takes away from the secret aspect of being able to try to play around it.
But secrets can destroy someone's play especially if they can't trigger it I doubt they will print another start of your turn secret it.
A 2 mana ruin your play and deal 5 damage to an enemy minion is too much value.

I would like if they just revealed all the cards at once like they did the core set.

DH: Controlling board while SMORC'ing you down
Great class.
4 old gods in 1 deck??? wow fun and innovative.
OTK DH isn't a "snoozefest" it's just broken and pros agree.
cool
That just made me realize I made it too memey.
I think I want to take C'thun out and maybe yogg.
If flamestrike happens to be too slow I'll take that out as well.
Guessing the new expansion will have some mana/spell cheating card or a nature spell synergy making this card look way better for Druid.
Definitely a staple especially if they print another new card in the future that lets you choose both effects.
I would have to replace Lone Champion for Annoy-o-Tron and I could replace 1 Stage Dive for Ringmaster Whatley
I just like Lone Champion more but the ringmaster package might be better who knows. Depends on what support we get in the new expansion.

Most players will not have that card in their deck after the first week. Then it just becomes a stat card meme.
Also wouldn't it just be better to add a blitz mode instead of having a goofy restriction for it?
Just seems like we have so many useless legendaries in this core set.
