I'm kind of surprised that it isn't an usual druid-druid : You know, a card without tribe and a choose one option for two beastforms. But this one is way better, with about the same flexiblity.
The stories are barely connected,Jaina does appear, as does Thrall, but there is no prior knowledge required to understand the story. It isn't explicitly mentioned that the pop-up Jaina that appears in fight 3 belongs to the alliance, but that's the only thing I could think of.
Just also wanted to brag:got two legendaries from the four packs!

.Changing it to random card may help, and I love the flavor, art, and effect. But, due to the similarity to Star Student Stelina, I would give it a 4/5. – Okay, you have a new card. Maybe change the sides, it could work better with orange+blue and purple+purple. The effect is nice and easy, but the name could be somewhat catchier.
@Shivershine
Show Spoiler
Looks good, and fair priced. But overall it looks more like a priest card than a rogue card, maybe change the name a bit to also reflect the rogue-y side of this.

while I don’t see any problem with letting the secret appear as either rogue or hunter, I find the Stealth redundant. After the Stealth Beasts attacked, they’ve lost it anyway, even if they survived, which is hard to achieve (except when a freezing trap is played beforehand). So it breaks down to: When an enemy minion attacks, deal 2 damage to it twice. And while hunter might have something onboard to buff a beast’s attack, rogue doesn’t which makes this slated towards hunter.
@shaveyou:

I really like the cost reduction, which also really fits the student in the name. Now it’s an even better fit for Scholomance.
@linkblade91

I like that you cut the Rush part, and I like the effect that gives the effect for the entire game, not just minions in deck or hand. I like the overall combo effect best, it is shorter and would really encourage rogue to play this.
@BloodMefist
Show Spoiler
Right now, I have to say both versions are too strong. Both druid and paladin are able to buff the attack of a minion, so even if the normal payoff is small, with a single small spell it can be massive. Not all custom cards have to be OP!
@Nirast

I like the changed card, looks playable and good now. Small cosmetic suggestion though: can you center the angry dwarf a bit more?
@TheHoax91:

I like the idea of combining the two book-y classes, although mage spells in paladin are weird. But change the rarity to epic, since this is pretty complex. You might even make it a libram, although this could become weird.
@bigcums :
Show Spoiler
Good, and mostly balanced card, I like the strong effect combined with the rarity. But some small suggestions: I think it should say Glaivemaster, and neither DH nor Rogue has much in the way of buffs (with the exception of Cold Blood) which makes this unprecedented.
@BasilAnguis:

Shorter Text for Sanctum Defender is great, but Stealth and defending still do not mix well. Maybe change it to “Sanctum Warrior” or “Sanctum Fighter”.
Arcane Blessing has a great name, but the picture is to paladin-y. And if it’s just random spells, it’s honestly just a mage effect, so change it to from your class. And then bump up the cost.
@allthehype

Welcome here! Nice and simple effect, great fit. But change the watermark, and best not to Scholomance, since this doesn’t look like a card from this set.
And now feedback for feedback!
@grumpymonk,anchorm4n ,Nirast,linkblade91,MrRhapsody: thanks for the feedback, but with this tie it’s still hard to decide on a card art!
@MrRhapsody: great suggestion for a changed effect.
@Ardin: thanks for the suggestion to change the name. English is not my native language, and my first idea worked in German, but since there is no literal translation I just approximated it as best as I could, which obviously didn’t work out to well. I will try to find a better name.
@TheHoax91: this is one of the best reviews I’ve ever seen, bravo!

This card is indeed legendary in it's randomness. To make the battlecry more impactful- as this can die to Explosive Runes maybe change it to "dies of them". I quite like it, because randomness is the way of the mage, and warlocks are great at killing people.
@BasilAnguis
Show Spoiler
It's honestly to much text. And while there is both a rogue and a paladin aspect in there, they don't mix well, in creating a minion that basically flees. If you change it to stealth-> divine shield it would represent both classes a bit better, by letting the minion jump from the shadows and reveal himself as noble fighter. Rare is also to little for this effect
@Ardin
Show Spoiler
Probably a bit to narrow for a legendary. The effect is okay for the cost, but it looks more suited to hunter than shaman. The effect for the beast is so much stronger, especially as it is not limited to: "this turn", which could make some crazy combos possible with just a single card.
@anchorm4n

Well, it's a lot. I like the art, and the class combination, but spirits as copies of a minion are a shaman theme, so maybe change the name. Also, maybe make the stats worse, right now this is pretty strong.

The almalgam looks like you took the parts from someone else and cobbled them together. No really, it's to close to Nightmare Almalgam. THe elemental is very strong, but the healing effect should be stronger, since you'd play it less for the healing, and more for the aoe.

Wandering Monk- A weird combination, why is hunter in there? The flavor is way off. And for hunter this is great, but no priest would play this-except as a weird combo piece
Edwin,the Revolutionary: very strong. But rush is weird for this combination, as it’s not found in either class
While I know the art is well known, and I honestly searched for something less orderly, my idea would be to combine hunter and paladin by giving their cheap minions steeds/riders.
@OldenGolden, @GameTheory345 & @Carew6 - why do you complain about a well-written post explaining why one of the most active members of a public discussion forum will quit?
In a forum, we share ideas and opinions, and while the opinion "I'll quit hearthstone, because of reasons" is a valid opinion to voice, replying with "No one cares" is less polite, less interesting to read and less useful. This is a hearthstone (mostly) forum, of course users are interested in other people's opinion of the game!
@YourPrivateNightmare: Sorry to see you leave. I hope you'll find a new, more fullfilling past time. I quite liked your long posts and your new hunter decks.
Inexperienced Shifter: A conditional Battlecry card which you’ll never play at turn 1, this fits druid to a T. It is situational strong -Oasis Surger or Malfurion come to mind- but only in the lategame. It also fits the student flavor. I’d maybe even add a health, to make it somewhat playable in the early game in desperate situations. In the late game there isn’t really a difference between 1/1 and 1/2.
@BloodMefist
Show Spoiler
Nosy Newbie: A great flavor, and fits thematically especially because of Raise Dead. While you’re right and the flavor is kinda off – did he find a dead body and dragged it to his dorm room?- you could change that to adding a random warlock spell to your hand.
@KANSAS
Show Spoiler
While I guess that the card is mostly fair, it is a bit bland and doesn’t fit Scholamance. I really can’t say what to change to make it fit- maybe name and picture? It does fit shaman, since murloc+battlecry, maybe it’s even a bit too strong with the quest.

Horticulture Teacher: 1/3 add a weak 2mana card to you hand, which is rotated out. Seems fair in a weak way. I’m not really a fan since I see no deck to play it, and teachers as 1mana cards are weird too. Since I’m not an English native speaker: what does “give an apple to your teacher” mean?
@R

Accursed Pupil: While basic and classic rooms are mostly weaker than expansion cards, warlock cards are pretty good. And while mage/warlock is a somewhat natural pairing (corrupting power and all that), mage has no ways to get other classes’ cards as off yet. And discovering a card on a 2/1 is stronger than any other 1 mana get something minion. This would be a fair 2 cost card, and I do not see a way to scale it down to 1 cost while keeping the text.

Glaive Trainer: Good statline, and a great upside. Yes, powercreep and DH’s superiority are a thing, but this is too much. It should be a rare (which is not allowed, I know), or a 1/1, or a 1/2 with the effect as a battlecry.

Dark Arts Sacrifice: Ancient Harbinger powercreep! No, I quite like this card. A new student who’s a Dark Arts Sacrifice is a great idea, and the effect captures that perfectly. Also, warlocks’ strength is card dras, and some tutoring is not bad, especially since you can’t draw that card later with the quest-heropower, so it doesn’t allow to crazy sheningans.

Nice to be back. I made a simple card, a callback to the ogres that we didn't get since Rastahkan. But I fear it is too simple, or not good enough, since it can also attack friendly characters, for only a +1 from [Hearthstone Card (Battlemage) Not Found]. Maybe add taunt? Or scrap the design alltogether? What do you think?
Even though I lack Patches, I tried the Kingsbane deck and climbed - with only one loss- from bronze 10 to silver 1. This deck is crazy strong, especially Ship's Cannon performs great!
What you did is impressive by its scale, but it's also terrible presentation. Who is interested enough in another classic/basic overhaul to scroll through a hundred pieces of text? And most of them are the same- "unchanged". You should start small, by changing one class, or the neutral cards. And you can use hearthcards to change existing cards: https://outof.cards/hearthstone/269-fan-creations-tutorial-how-to-use-hearthcards-1-the-basics which will make this so much more appealing. And please add some thoughts, like a general design philosophy- a sentence per class would show where you focus lies.
Interesting. You streamlined the class, leaving most of the small minion synergies out. While the basic set represents attack synergies and bigger demons well enough, there isn't a single outcast card among them, even though outcast is the core mechanic!
I'll now give criticism, hopefully constructive. If I do not criticize something, I think it's good.
I also have problems with Battle Felguard. It's quite similar to Leeroy Jenkins, but you also introduce buffs for demons. While big surprising swings from the hand are somewhat common in DH, Battle Felguard is a basic card. Copy it with Felosophy, and you have 12 face damage from hand, which is more than Pyroblast. And DH should be different from Hunter because it does not have buffs. What would a buff even represent lore wise? "I meddle with demonic powers better left alone, which I manipulate for revenge and my own gain, but I also support and treasure them. " ?
Iliidari Dancer is probably spelled wrong, should be Illidari Dancer. It also has a confusing text, which you can't have in the classic set. I still don't know what it does.
Cordana Felsong is an odd one out, basically the only defensive card, while also stealing rogue's Sap. The design would be better suited for a warrior/rogue dual class card. While disruption is a theme for DH, DH has only a limited set of battlecries: gain attack, cheapen DH, draw card, conditional damage dealt. If you want to keep the sap effect, maybe make it trigger after Cordana attacked a minion.
And, lastly: you should either cut the small minions entirely, or keep all their cards. Keeping 3 in basic&classic is not useful.
I'm kind of surprised that it isn't an usual druid-druid : You know, a card without tribe and a choose one option for two beastforms. But this one is way better, with about the same flexiblity.

Great deck! Even without Eys'or, I'm currently 5-0 with it.
Looks solid, but what about Yriel? Wouldn't she be a good fit too?
