After last week discussions I changed my mind. 4 hero choice is a small edge, one you can make if f2p-players have to earn it with gold. It also feels like fun is being taken from f2p-players, so I understand the frustration.
I wonder how this turns out in the long run, because we dont have actual stats about playerbase and players with tavern passes.
It is a perk to pick 4 heroes. The armor-system is supposed to balance out the differences between heroes. So in theory every hero has the same chance of winning. It just reduces the chance of a F2P-player to pick a fun-hero.
As I commented somewhere here. The leaving of player before a lobby starts, will have consequences for balance issues with heroes. As BG is designed around a 8 player lobby.
Thanks for your reply. I think your first point makes the most sense. Diablo Mortal isnt released in the Netherlands and Belgium because of the lootboxes and the EU is really investigating the gambling aspect of lootboxes.
Agreed. Playing against Blood DK feels like previous-year-Druid.
If you cant kill them before turn 5, you are fighting an uphill battle. Renathal gives them all the possible answers.
That is just the feeling I get
Probably has to do with discover. Having 3 blood runes will prevent you for discovering frostcards.
However, I dont like the fact that Vampiric Blood will get discovered more.
I skipped 3 seasons of Hearthstone, but this expansions feels like a fresh new breeze with very colourful cards. I like it.
I hope Hearthstone can patch more often during the year to give more cards time to shine. Keep the breeze fresh.
Looking back at the previous year, Brann destroyed a lot of fun to me. Should have left earlier.
Hmm, it seems the pre-order bundle is gone.
Why did they change it again, seems I missed that again.
Vomir seems bugged. Playing Hobogoblin counts as a card played by your opponent
Amazing read, not familair with the lore. Although Goliath didnt wrote it, this is a good deep dive ;)
The story of Silversurfer is good guy doing bad things? Like Sargeras or Illidan?
Maybe Blizzard wants to break away from Twitter before shit really hits the fan.
I honestely hate Twitter, it is even worse than meta.
Twitter is being used as a 140-token of truth, science is being reduced to 140 tokens.
Just use it for fun and not to discuss politics or announce news.
Pretty addictive, already poured 15 hours into it. 1 drop deck is pretty sick. There are some mentions/tips I want to make:
1. Snapping mechanic works better on a higher rank (opponents know how to retreat)
2. When one location is tie, the victory is based upon the player with the most power. (Greatest difference between other location).
3. All cards are in a pool. Update your collection to rank up. Till lvl 216 is pool
4. During leveling you will unlock pool 1 cards at random order.
5. Some weeknquest requires updating cards, use framebreaks to do this. (Dont spent everthing on paying 300 credits if you can buy 12 frame breaks)
Have fun and lets discuss! It is truely a game during travels or taking a number 2 due to the fast pace.
True, but a jury does not have a much knowledge of law.
Btw: Civil cases are most of the time with one judge (shop lifting) and cases like homicide always have three judges.
But every country has another system based on the same principles and that is the most important.
Nice article. I also think that Attorny at Maw is a reference to Saul Goodman.
What is your opinion about a jury?
In the Netherlands we don't use a jury, only the judge. A jury can be very susceptible for emotion.
The judge also weighs the circumstances of the accused (family, impact of punishment, willing to learn from his mistake).
Do you want extra salt with that?
I just wished they obliterated the mage and druid deck, they are very oppressive the last few months.
If they nerfed it to oblivion, then other decks might become standard meta. Now their powerlevel is toned down, but still too high.
Brann is a fun card but also limits the design space of the team. Just look at the ugly parrot combos or Apprentice and Sire.
All in all, I just hope the mini sets can shake things up.
I don't get it, why give the Priest a bow?
Macaw and/or Keal'thas ft . Brann are the problem
I also think this is what 'corporate' wants and not the devs.
How many times content was cut for DLC?

That is exactly why I used "should be".

What is the advantage of using a fantasy currency?
You will still have to grab your debetcard or creditcard to buy the runestones.
