I agree with you, but in what situation are you playing [Hearthstone Card (Leper Gnomes) Not Found] and you're in the late game against a DH and you haven't been slaughtered yet?
I was referring to Toxic Reinforcements. I meant the 'later' game for that particular deck not the late late game for your standard control deck. Sorry for the confusion. With deathrattle minions floating around you won't be able to just cheat out or slam this card down on the board all the time.

I am already angry that quest mage can generate 3 turns in a row in wild. With the new cards is seems druid might be able to generate about 5 turns worth of mana.
I remember that one time I made a 26-attack 7-health Bolvar Fordragon and played Faceless Manipulator on it to get a second one ... only to lose a couple of turns later. Well now I can have 3 of them instead of 2 and still lose! Playing this alongside Lynessa Sunsorrow will be fun for the memes.
The only deck I see this being run in is one that includes Dark Conviction, Subdue, or Humility plus their minion equivalents. All other Paladin removal spells have negative synergy with Argent Braggart.
I could see this being run in a Paladin deck with 1-mana secrets such as Redemption as the spellburst activator to pull out the buffs. Throw in some sticky minions with divine shield and there is value to be had.
This card will do better in aggro with Savage Roar as a board controller and finisher. I think there will be better cards than this for non aggro decks. This card reminds me of Wardruid Loti. When Loti was revealed, it was thought to be a flexible swiss army knife that would go in any deck. In reality it didn't find a home in that many decks. I'm getting the same vibe here. This seems like a bait card, but with interesting effects nonetheless.
Great card. I don't quite believe in the whole package though. The legendary is underwhelming. I guess there are a few cards left to reveal though. Soul Fragments is a good theme that will hopefully get some more support through dual class cards in the next expansion. They added Lackeys in multiple expansions and that worked out pretty well so there is hope. My fear though is that they abandon this idea the way they did with C'thun, and the package becomes all but unplayable after 1 month in Standard.
I don't think this is good enough as a finisher. That 5/5 body worries me with all the AOE removal floating around. This does look like the best type of deck to put Sphere of Sapience in though. You really want to make sure you are drawing the right cards at the right time with this deck while guaranteeing that activators remain in your deck. In a way it reminds me of a C'thun deck.
This card is average at best. I've played the thief too many times and received utter unusable garbage (especially against warlock and shaman) for me to believe this card is above average. Oh, and if you are playing a non-weapon class, I hope you enjoy that weapon buff or weapon tutor card! Academic Espionage was not even close to being broken at half the cost so I don't think this is either. It has niche uses in maybe mill druid as an alternate win condition or in games that get close to fatigue to buy you one more cheap resource. This will only be played in very specialized decks.
Disappointing! After 2 dual class reveals, I get the feeling that the design team is having a tough time with Rogue/Mage. Both cards seem very 'safe'. Wand Thief is not going to be meta-breaking. The randomness of Jandice Barov is going to keep this card at bay as well, and the design team knows this. While the effect is unique, I would hardly call it legendary.
I've never been a fan of Savage Roar or Bloodlust being tied to the basic set from a design standpoint. Bloodlust is my most hated basic card so naturally Runic Carvings scares me. The amount of late game reload is disgusting especially for Shaman because it has better tools to survive the early game. These new totem cards along with older cards like Onyxia or Shu'ma basically tell your opponent to clear the board every turn or you are dead. Even control decks run out of answers at some point.

This card could bring more consistency to thief rogue in wild. Turn 4 play Academic Espionage. Turn 5 play Secret Passage and have 4 mana left over for those 1-cost cards! I'll be experimenting with this one!

A good control card for warrior. For Paladin maybe an egg/deathrattle build including Teron Gorefiend could make some sense here.

Love it! This is what I have been begging for for years now. This is what the secret classes want. Instant synergy with Shadowjeweler Hanar, Pack Tactics + Professor Putricide, Glacial Mysteries (finally!), and to some extent Commander Rhyssa with Mysterious Challenger in wild. Some anti-synergy with Bamboozle, but most secrets will work here.
This card is long overdue! 5 stars even if it isn't very good.
Well, this card certaintly helps a Vereesa Windrunner combo deck.
Professor Slate doesn't specify damage dealing spells so I wonder if summon spells like Unleash the hounds would come with poisonous.

Spell damage mage is starting to look legit. It also seems like a great answer to all these swarm cards being revealed.
