Witchwood had a lot of good things but it also had one of the most useless mechanics ever in hearthstone. You probably forgot about the 'swap' mechanic. The ability of certain cards to swap attack and health in hand at the start of your turn was touted as a key mechanic along with rush during the expansions announcement. This is what Dean was probably referencing.
I will end at at level 225 with the pass. I'm happy with progress considering that I lost a week and a half of daily and weekly quests due to the hurricane. I do feel the pass is the best bargain in the game. It will be the only thing I purchase from this company until their is a change in leadership at the top.
This seems to be one of the weaker hero cards although hunter might be able to overwhelm opponents with the shear amount of secrets created by the legendary weapon and through cheating them out. I doubt it though. I am glad they are experimenting with hero powers that cost more than 2 even if I'm not a huge fan of this particular one. More expensive hero power options in the future please. Looks like I will be running Sideshow Spelleater in many of my wild decks this December!
I haven't played or seen this card in a while. Did they update it for Barrens , Stormwind, or Darkmoon for their respective keywords? It would be nice if Transfer Student could get a yearly update for all sets going forward.
Similar to Bring It On!. I don't think that card saw too much play, and I don't think this one will either. It will need synergy with frost spells, 2-cost spells, or dare I say Spell Warrior!... none of which exist as of this reveal.

Seems like a very good reactionary stall card especially for the paladin questline. It can also be created by first day of school. I don't know if it will be enough to improve that quest.
This will fit in very nicely in the McDonalds Rogue deck in wild featuring Gral, the Shark and Mutanis. Now if only I could get the Hamburgler portrait instead of Scabbs... Oh well, I know what deck I'm playing at bronze 10 in December!
Somewhere in the depths and crevices of Alterac Valley, Millhouse Manastorm can be found crying in the corner wondering what his purpose in life is. Actually, I think I will just include Millhouse in my decks now. Its not like mages use mana anyway.
I had a problem with Jerry Rig Carpenter the other day. I was playing the Uldum choose one quest in wild and had it completed. I played the carpenter and the red target graphic came up. I was confused so I aborted the action and returned it to my hand (something you shouldn't be able to do with that card). I tried again and the game seemed insistent that I target something. I could not target the enemy minions so I opted to target my own frozen damaged minion. It did nothing, and after a small delay I got the 2 free cards from Hidden Oasis. Weird bug!
I try to always let opponents finish achievements ( however I have been insta-conceding against quest warlock lately). It would be nice if we could finish out the turn after the opponent concedes for achievements, but I guess the game isn't capable of handling that concept.
I had complained about Primordial Protector early in the Barrens. While it is technically not a violation of the no Duplicate rule, it sure is a violation of the spirit of the rule. You are not supposed to get a third copy of an epic before collecting 2 copies of the rest. This needs to be changed. Team 5 should completely take them out of the pack pool and actually use the rewards track as its own micro mini set. Increase the rewards from 1 to 2 commons, 2 rares, 2 epics and maybe another legendary (all nuetrals and golden versions for the paid track) that can go into tier 2 type decks . The result would be different players unlocking these cards at different times leading to more experimentation and more deck variety for hopefully a more varied ladder experience for a majority of the expansion. Make these particular cards uncraftable until the expansion is over and make them non-disenchantable until they rotate out of standard. All reward cards should be disenchantable at rotation.
I'm at level 248 on the paid pass and that will be it for me. I only got to level 220 for Darkmoon, however I feel like I put in more time this go round. Plus I completed all but 1 achievement in Barrens as opposed to half of the achievements in Darkmoon (mainly for not having the right cards). The Rewards track pass still seems good and I will purchase it again, but I'm still slightly disappointed. I like the idea of the achievements, but they are starting to feel like a chore.
While we are on this topic, What about the DAILY quests? Should I keep holding 1 or 2 quests for August 3? Are we getting any special quest or questline tomorrow? If so does that come with a normal quest as well? I want to get through the first part of the track faster. I can't remember how this was handled for the launch of Barrens.
Demonslayer Kurtrus should have at least come with taunt or rush. If you are about to die, he is unplayable making the final reward even worse the longer he stays in your hand.
