This is a Tempo (Quest) Warrior card, and it's nice to see that archetype getting some new support. I think this will make a viable strategy. Very curious to see the Invoke cards for this class.
Just played against Snip Snap Warlock for the first time. (I don't play Wild very often.) Sweet merciful heaven, what was that? I can't believe that is allowed to exist. It makes everything in Standard seem totally fine.
Welcome to the wild side, my friend!
Regarding the report, it seems pretty accurate to me, but I still think that renolock is better than renomage.
Another thing that bothers me, but I expected to happen, was the rise in big priests, probably due to a secondary increase in control decks trying to beat secret mages (thank God they are sparse above rank 5 were I'm playing right now)...
About the low sample size decks, I have doubts about the evolve shaman stuff (I mean, broken by broken, sniplock is just faster and more consistent, evolve shaman without drawing this card is trash) and cubelock is still vulnerable to damage-heavy decks, but still a really strong deck!
There is a huge difference between current top tiers, and when we had Odd Paladin and Even Shaman at the top.
In the same way there is a difference between POWERFUL vs BROKEN.
And it's not just a matter of power, it's also a matter that current top decks are basically Tempo AND Combo (power from hand) at the same time!
They can build insane boards in the same turn, and you can only hope to hold a counter at the right time, or you're screwed.
So no, if they nerfed the current trio of top decks, the new ones would be obviously very powerful, but not equally broken (Renodecks would probably stabilize on top, with classic Combo rising as meta police, and Odd/Even Tempo to lock the balance).
(And unnerfing some cards would do little to no good on its own, even tho i'd certainly appreciate Yogg unnerfed).
I expect Wild to be very powerful, NOT broken.
Completely agreed on that
There is a huge difference between powerful and broken. Usually the problems arrive when there is a broken COMBO deck that disrupts the rock/paper/scissors rule. Once in a while they appear to annoy us, poor wild players. Being beaten up by a combo deck at turn 5-7 in a regular basis is not cool.
The most recent example is this snip snap warlock. Mechwarper is the main issue, but let's remember that the card that made this deck viable was Plague of Flames (1 mana, wipe the board... totally balanced). Btw, nowadays I've been only playing shaman decks, since devolve solves all my mech related problems (but I have a hard time against secret mages).
I enjoy playing wild because of the multiple synergies between old and new cards, but facing broken decks over and over just cuts the fun out of the game. If I was willing to play a no brainier draw-and-win game, I would play Yu-Gi-Oh, not HS!!
Another thing, that OP stated, but I don't agree, is that wild is low represented. I usually queue in a few seconds, even at higher ranks. Last year, when wild was all about Odd Pally and Big Priest, it was forever to enter a single match, no matter what rank you were.
Will Dragon/Galakrond Control Warrior replace Mech-Boom Control Warrior? Maybe.
After April/2020, mech warrior will be gone. Until then, it stays and, IMHO, dragon warrior will only be a deck recipe that people will try for 2 weeks and then go back to mech-boom....
Yeah. It's completely messed up. If you want to go face, you will spend your mana on minions, not on hero power. And also you won't bother running a side quest. In the end, running a mid-range deck with some inspire stuff would be just a meme...
But we need to see the other unrevealed cards and what the meta will look like
Little-spell quest mage will be so fun! You play the quest and sidequests, play a bunch of small spells, draw and generate even more spells. Even better with Flamewaker.
You can still see some of these rare breeds in wild
Terrible
I think the answer is YEEEEAHHH BABY!
I really hope Blizzard is not printing more resurrect shenanigans!!!
Thank god you (still?) can't magnetize dragons
Broken
This card text means: play me in a combo deck, please!!!
Thought exactly the same!!
This brawl is a forecast for wild in a few years: game decided by coin toss. The one who draws the broken combo first wins.

That's so easy to address.
Remove the discount text and adjust mana cost to 3 (so it won't be useless). Just a good rare rush minion.
I would be happy if only the game could open on mobile, as of today.
This is the only thing people are talking about on reddit.
Don't the devs test stuff before updating???

Me hungry! You Yummy!!!
Goodbye Sogoth
Only time will tell, but I think this dragon warlock won't shine, since its synergies are more aggro oriented, but they are too slow
Exactly this!
The devs can't imagine something more interesting to priests than infinite removals and degenerate combos...
Btw, the card art is really nice! (And the battlecry, of course)
Just pray you don't get some Brightwings with the Dream Portals...
Thanks!!
Found that to be interesting too!
