Using it for card draw is comparable to Branching Paths: 2 for (4).

But this new card doesn't have the same versatility as Path, which is the real strength of the card.

A 3/2 Beast with no keywords is just not enough to account for versatility.

Meeting of minds is straight up busted. It essentially allows you complete information of your opponent's hand AND your choice of a card.

Information of your opponent's hand is a bit overrated as a mechanic. Madame Lazul never saw any play, and she has a very similar effect also attached to a 3/2 body for only 1 more mana. I don't think being able to run a second copy makes it hugely better, and that's basically what this is. Not even any board presence as Lazul does.

Card is fine in my opinion.

Curious Glimmerroot used to have its place in Reno Priest.

Madame Lazul is currently unplayed simply because she has anti-synergy with Resurrection Priest, which has been the only viable Priest archetype for ages now. Not because she's not worth it.

I really like your design about healing and protecting (so far, played Priest cards are always about Shadow, Madness and Necroing... to the point i absolutely dislike the class), and I absolutely love Faol being there (although i think he should either cost (7) or have 9/10 health).

The only thing i deem to be out of place is the new Vision card: showing full hand is too much, and visually complicated. (from up to 4 cards) should be added to the text.

Most of the other cards are great, although maybe the protecting cards need some testing to be properly valued about their cost.

    Solid Tempo/Midrange drop.*

*For any class that isn't Priest.

I fixed your statement for you. Priest needs a lot more Tempo support cards before this will see much play.

    My statement was already correct.

This IS a solid Tempo/Midrange drop.

The fact there is no fitting deck for Priest at the moment does not invalidate the truth of my comment.

    Possibly for Wild too.

You should focus on decks rather than expansions.

Sets are nearly irrelevant, from a powerlevel point of view, as only few cards per set are powerful enough to surface the Wild meta.

Current t1, t2, t3 decks contain cards from nearly any set.

If you still want to focus on sets instead of decks, there is no real priority, just go for your guts feelings, especially if your ultimate goal is a complete collection anyway.

I don't expect them to systematically know what is too much.

But why should you be careful if you know you can hotfix few days later?

Galakrond Shaman was the first product of such a policy.

Why should they do internal testing at all, if people are happy with weekly nerfs?

    See where this could lead?

But hey, people like it. They think fast and frequent nerfs is good customer service. So it's apparently all good...

The point is that, SURELY, if your main goal is powerlevel, frequent nerfs become an excuse.

Just look at Galakrond Shaman: it was OBVIOUSLY OP, with no need of testing!

But hey, people seem to like this policy and unstable meta. So they are right in being nearly careless with design and nerfs.

I just wonder how sustainable it is, about attracting and keeping new players in the game...

High powerlevel + frequent nerfs => Mass Hysteria

We are forgetting that cards should be released balanced, and nerfs shouldn't be the norm...

Kobolds and Catacombs sits on another planet with its flawless vintage style.

Amongst the more human trailers, Saviors of Uldum is my favorite for the catchy song.

    As per title.

The deck seems to have everything: cycle, healing, mana cheat, broken removals.

Not unbeatable, but virtually flawless. It can't kill you by turn-6 as Sniplock could, but it can realiably survive long enough to just OTK you later.

Dirty Rat is too much of an highroll tbh, Aggro and Burn seem too unreliable. The window to kill them seems very narrow, to the point i typically feel hopeless against their ruthless cycling (historically, decks with so much cycle used to die in few turns while trying).

Am i just seeing the empty glass?

Old Yogg and his Box are much more reliable than this Reno: one thing is calling upon the RNG gods while desperate, and start from a clean state AFTERWARDS.

Another thing is having that risk much lowered, but persistent THROUGH the game, giving you no certainty each turn.

Since Galakronds were all (7), I'd go for (10) for all the LoE Hero cards.

No idea about HP and Battlecry, it could be really anything for each hero.

Well, a Control deck focused around spells, or a Combo deck can afford losing their own board, AND the risk of a random spell each turn.

In any other case (ie. Dragon and probably Highlander too), this card sounds just not worth the risk.

    For Wild:

    Galakrond or Pirate Warrior.

Galakrond Egg Warlock (or Cubelock if you have the cards).

    Jade or Token Druid.

    Dragon Priest (Midrange or Control).

Well, after the patch i must adjust my opinion: the card text now specifies "other", while i thought the nerf would have been hidden, in a Yogg-Saron, Hope's End fashion.

Now the text itself restricts the card pool, so that's acceptable, not a clumsy hotfix.

Unless the HP is dumb (unlikely), this card is going to be played in Standard for sure.

Not sure about Wild, where DK Jaina can carry the game.
