My thinking is much the same, until I replace "phone" with "tablet." There's definitely a set of games I like to play on my iPad, and I'm hoping that it's the right level of game to be conducive to couch potato time.
I wanted to try out Raid the Docks Questline Warrior after seeing Kibler pilot it with some (probably limited) success. I didn't expect much, but it was a change of pace from slamming the same deck for two months.
Two Questline Warlocks and two Control Priests later, and I rage quit. I even managed to complete the quest into a coin + Mindrender Illucia for the instaloss, just to salt the wound. A serious misplay, to be sure, but dammmit. Daaaamit.
Weapon tech without the (complete) downside? Seems like Doomhammer Shaman will take a hit, for one, along with all the Profession tools as they come in. Good stats for the cost in any case.
Makes testing for particular secrets more difficult in cases where the minions are removed one at a time, since there will be one added after each one dies.
If the game goes past Turn 8, this definitely bring a bunch of value. It's slow, though, both in terms of 8 mana as well as not affecting the board when played (apart from something like Darkmoon Rabbit.
I really like to see the "soul of the card" coming back, but it being a minion makes it muck more dependent on the possible attributes in terms of power level. Historically the 4-mana slot can get crowded, so that limitation may also be tough.
It may well be that the patch is something of a buff to Fungalmancer Flurgl. With murlocs taking such a knock, few will be forcing them anymore from the start. That leave the pool full of murlocs to drive the Flurgl engine. They might not be DSP murlocs in the end, but they will still scale pretty well.
I was having some luck with Cerebro decks, as they can fill the spot any make use of the extra cards generally.

Probably just me, but the walking animation really does look like a person wearing a rat suit walking on their hands and feet.

Buttercup: Westley, what about the R.O.U.S.'s?
Westley: Rodents of Unusual Size? I think they don't exist.
Rustrot Viper is straight up power creep over Gluttonous Ooze, with potential upside as a Beast (or possible downside with N'Zoth, God of the Deep if you prefer another Beast to return.)

I was going to post something, but it would just be this.
I will spring for Magni. Lunara, on the other hand... no.
The all look like Tier 2 armor sets from WoW, apart from Valeera (and Illidan, obviously). Hers reminds me of the PvP set.
Judgement Armor Uther, though? Yes, please and thank you.
Most of the art for Rokara is pretty good, but the third version makes her look like Sloth from The Goonies.
Are we yet at the point where we get the Random option?
Midrange is back on the menu!
Real question is whether the Hero Power damage from Reckless Apprentice counts toward the requirement for Mordresh Fire Eye?

I hope the voice lines are lifted straight from Warcraft II.
This was my concern; seems like a meaningful deckbuilding tradeoff to activate this.
