I don't see a problem playing both cards. Mercenary has downside - minion must be damaged and using it on a mummy is a waste. Also I'm pretty sure they will introduce some fancy rush minions.
Miracla Mage can OTK you even without this card. But with that it will OTK you for sure. Imagine arcane missles for 11 and 12 dmg and then frostbolt for 13. You can hide it with Maiev Shadowsong first.
They are mini-versions of hunter companions - 2/2 taunt, 2/1 charge, 1/2 give all minions +1 attack.

Explosive trap works with spell power so why shouldn't be poisonous? Poison trap!

At this moment every change in deck (except drawing) reshuffles it. So this card can be countered by bomb warrior for example.

Perfect addition to rush warrior. Great combos with Restless Mummy and Kargath Bladefist

Underwhelming effect for a legendary. Something similar to Imprisoned Felmaw but worse. Anyway, bad legendary for rogue is definietly good thing :P
