Another good follow up to Spawnpool Forager. I don't see any class having a murloc deck right now besides Shaman, and I'm a little skeptical of Murloc Shaman's finishing potential, but I still think Lushwater Murcenary will find a home in some murloc deck eventually if Murloc Shaman doesn't work out this expansion.

Reminds me of Twilight Summoner, which probably means the initial body is too slow and non-threatening for the cost to ever see play.

Traditionally these self-destroy effects have seen play when they are tempo oriented, which Grimoire of Sacrifice isn't. Control Warlock already was School Spirits and Fire Breather for AoE and Zoolock doesn't care for the AoE. Overall, I just don't see what Warlock wants to use this card.

This is a four mana SI:7 Agent that is more easily played on curve and has additional upside. Given how much Rogue likes drawing cards and using Shadowstep, the upside can easily be realized. The only thing going against this card is that a lot of Rogue's damage is super cheap along with their card draw to the point where they may not care about a 4/4 body unless the class slows down in the future.

Considering the historic aggressive nature of murlocs, this doesn't lend well to that history. Murlocs want to be dumped onto the board as early as possible, and I don't think plus one attack and rush makes it worth holding them back, not to mention that you don't want to play Lushwater Scout on curve because of its stat line. If a Murloc Shaman deck sees play, I don't think they will run this.

This is pretty synergistic with Libram Paladin, which has Animated Broomstick, multiple cheap holy spells with Libram of Wisdom, and cares about the lifesteal. You also more reliably get holy spells with Knight of Anointment, making Veteran Warmedic a consistently threatening card.

The existing of Arid Stormer makes this a promising start to a promising elemental windfury package in Shaman. I think that all the mana breakpoints will work out for the elemental chain in that archetype, especially with the two-drop elementals and Fantastic Firebird.

While this isn't as flashy as the other elementals, it will probably be needed to curve into the insane midgame tempo swing of Lilypad Lurker, which is basically a Rotnest Drake for elementals. I also wouldn't underestimate the AoE ping effect that will make the 2/6 body a better one to trade.

Reminds me of Rotnest Drake and Vilespine Slayer as another midgame tempo removal that is very powerful. There is a Windfury Shaman that could curve Fantastic Firebird or Earth Revenant into Lilypad Lurker for a monster top end curve. I'm keeping my eye out on this one as well as the other elemental synergies Shaman got this expansion.

Curving Kindling Elemental into this into Whack-A-Gnoll Hammer will be an almost unbeatable curve. There's also just a lot of quality two-drop elementals to curve into this with Cagematch Custodian and Menacing Nimbus. There's already a sort of fringe Windfury Shaman with Fantastic Firebird and Mistrunner, and I could see this pushing it to be the main Shaman deck this expansion.

Combos nicely with Murloc Tinyfin and is a good follow up to a one-drop murloc. My only concern with Murloc Shaman is that they may not have a great ability to reload and can burn out on tempo fairly quickly. Even if Murloc Shaman doesn't work this expansion, South Coast Chieftain is a good tool to help the archetype in the future.

This is probably the stickiest one-drop Shaman has ever seen that it will most likely see play across all aggressive Shaman strategies and not just Murloc Shaman.

The issue I have with Firemancer Flurgl is that 1) murloc decks want to flood the board as soon as possible and not hold on to murlocs and 2) Shaman doesn't have a great way to refill on murlocs as they are losing Underbelly Angler. Therefore, I don't see Flurgl being incredibly efficient like Altruis the Outcast, which may lead to a sign that Murloc Shaman may not be so efficient this expansion.

Zoolock likes buffing their minions, but I just can't help but to feel that Wriggling Horror is just a more efficient way to buff your minions. Horror buffs for the same amount as Kabal Outfitter, but applies both buffs immediately and for cheaper. Maybe this sees play once Horror rotates out.

Compared to Veteran Warmedic, this doesn't do nearly enough for casting a holy spell in Paladin. This also doesn't do enough in Priest as their tempo buff deck is nowhere near competitive. Since these are the two classes that care about holy spells, I don't have much hope for Spirit Healer.

Secret Mage has seen some competitive play recently in standard, but it's losing Ancient Mysteries and Cloud Prince. Oasis Ally is a board-centric secret, so it only makes sense in a tempo-based deck like Secret Mage. While I don't think Secret Mage will be able to keep up with other decks right now with its lack of synergies, Oasis Ally sets up for a potentially powerful Secret Mage in the future.

Mage loves to run spells, so this is often a two mana draw two and occasionally is free. We know how good free card draw is thanks to Rogue, so I think Mages will build their decks to support consistently getting a 0-2 mana draw two cards.

Along with Razormane Battleguard, this is promising for an aggressive Taunt Druid build as Mark of the Spikeshell is effectively a Hand of A'dal in that context. I don't think there is much use case outside of aggression since there aren't many late game taunts you really want to copy and you already have Y'Shaarj, the Defiler for Carnival Clown.

There are some interesting applications with this in an aggressive Taunt Druid deck cheating out a Toad of the Wilds or Bonechewer Brawler alongside this. Razormane Battleguard isn't consistent enough mana cheat to warrant inclusion in a slower Druid deck, but it is aggressive enough with low cost taunts. This probably isn't more aggressive than Token Druid, but it is something to keep an eye out for in the future.

On one hand, this is a good beast to curve into Menagerie Warden. On the other hand, this isn't a great beast to pull off of the powerful Guardian Animals as even Teacher's Pet has been cut from Guardian Druid. Therefore, I can only see this being played once Guardian Animals rotates out.
