Historically, Token Druid is the Druid archetype that cares about buffing its minions, and with cheap nature spells like Innervate, Lightning Bloom, and maybe Nature Studies(?), Guff Runetotem can be a great way to follow up a token board in the loss of Savage Roar. You only really need two nature spells to get more than enough stats for Guff's cost, not to mention how much burst this can provide when buffing a board that can attack face. Depending on what new nature spells are printed as well as what existing spells become nature spells, I see Guff being a serious consideration for Token Druid.

I don't know if Paralytic Poison sees play in Weapon or Kingsbane Rogue (in Wild) as we know them today. Both decks have been hyper-tuned to pump out as much face damage and want to swing face with their weapon. In these decks, the Rogue doesn't really care about taking face damage if they have to trade, since they are the ones putting on pressure. This being said, the immune aspect of this card isn't worth running a weapon buff that has half the output of Deadly Poison as you'd rather run a card that develops more damage or pressure. All I see this doing is diluting the pool for Wandmaker along with Yoink!.

Considering how this is almost like a better Flanking Strike for Paladin and that all of the Libram spells will be of the Holy school, I don't know how Cariel Roame doesn't see play in the already efficient Libram Paladin.

This doesn't feel impactful enough for its mana cost. Sure, SHR and Secret Paladins need ways to follow up their wide boards, but I don't think they will be willing to bend so far backwards for a four mana Mark of the Lotus. Also, this competes with the other more immediate and efficient four-cost plays that Paladin is known for. Overall, I think Invigorating Sermon is too slow for its cost.

I see this as sort of a replacement for Ray of Frost, but cheaper at the cost of being able to choose what to freeze. That being said, Ray of Frost is a pretty favorable comparison considering how prevalent the card was during its standard rotation. I think it is important to keep in mind that Flurry (Rank 1) is arguably and comparably worse at its first rank, but having the same or more output in its later ranks with its cheaper cost will allow you to develop more with your freeze than Ray of Frost could offer.

A four mana Frost Nova with a body and synergizes with Flurry (Rank 1) for a cheap former Flamestrike level of removal. Needless to say, the AoE freeze is a proven effect in Mage, so I definitely see this being competitive across multiple Mage decks, and even possibly so in more aggressive Mages thanks to the efficient body on Varden Dawngrasp.

This is essentially a Violet Teacher but for half the cost and the tokens have rush. While Hunter doesn't have the wide board buffing potential to take advantage multiple tokens, the class does have beast synergies that work well with this like Scavenging Hyena. A Spell Hunter archetype seems to be forming with this, Barak Kodobane, and the return of Lock and Load in the core set, but I'm still skeptical of the archetype's consistency and ability to win games. What will the archetype do while it's waiting to get enough mana for their Lock and Load turn? Will a bunch of random Hunter cards generated in one or two turns be enough to win the game?

This is just a better Khartut Defender for Priest. Granted, there won't be any resurrect synergy, which was the main way Khartut saw play in Priest. This makes me curious if Lightshower Elemental will see play in a more straight up Control Priest, but it may be just more efficient than Khartut to do so.

First application that comes to mind is Druid as they have Survival of the Fittest and Cenarion Ward that are central to Druid's gameplan (the former) and survivability (the latter). They also have Overgrowth and Lightning Bloom to get this out ahead of schedule. I could also see this in Libram Paladin to draw Libram of Hope since the deck will need more draw to replace Salhet's Pride and Blessing of Wisdom, not to mention Primordial Protector being an elemental and drawing Grand Finale in Mage. Overall, I think this isn't going to fit in all classes, but it will be extremely effective when it does fit.

I think that [Hearthstone Card (No fin Can Stop Us) Not Found] is a great follow up and pressure tool for Murloc Shaman decks. However, my question is: is there enough efficient murlocs left in the core set with the loss of Murloc Warleader? We'll have to see what murlocs are released for Shaman this expansion, but I think this card seeing play is more up to the efficiency of the available murlocs rather than the efficiency of the card itself.

I think Yoink! has too minor of an effect for it to ever be run straight up in a competitive deck. You get two free basic hero powers, which usually add up to one mana worth of value when compared to their upgraded counterparts, so you're paying one mana for one mana's worth of value. Not only that, but you don't get all of that value immediately as it is spread out over two turns. There's also the chance of weaker choices (in the context of Rogue) diluting your discover pool like Warrior, Priest, and DH. Lastly, your actually replacing a current resource in the Rogue dagger, which is a proven HP in Rogue and is extremely valuable now with all of the weapon synergies available to the class.

Mor'shan Elite looks like a nice defensive tool for a Control Warrior. It compares favorably with Barricade as, for one more mana, you get two four-health bodies that trade better. This also an on-curve follow up to Sword Eater or Reaper's Scythe. This also doesn't have the empty board restriction of Barricade. I think this makes a lot of sense in a Control Warrior that runs C'Thun, the Shattered or has enough armor gain to support the Silas Darkmoon combo.

I realized I missed the news on Stonetusk Boar, so thank you for pointing that out! I also forgot about Captain's Parrot, but I still like Southsea Deckhand as Bloodsail Flybooter matters less post Crystal Core and having multiple chargers can allow for earlier finishing turns with Daring Escape. Still, thanks for the input!

I don't think a one mana discount on what is effectively a Radiance effect will warrant running Desperate Prayer as it is still too low impact on its own. Thst being said, Gadgetzan Auctioneer is sticking around in the core set, so maybe there is a miracle combo deck that wants to run 0-mana spells and Auctioneer like with the fringe Chef Nomi deck.

Sadly, Stonetusk Boar has been banished to the Rush dimension (as well as Bluegill Warrior). :(

EDIT: I missed the news on both Boar and Bluegill retaining charge and going to Wild. I'll have to find a way to include Boar now since 1 mana 5/5 charge is pretty good.

Imp Swarm (Rank 1) looks inefficient in most of its potential uses. Cards that care about stats that see play today are run to be played on curve, and this is just a worse Cult Neophyte on turn two. By turns five and ten, the 3/2 bodies are way less likely to have an impact even if when summoning 2-3 of them. The only way I see this being competitive is if Warlock gets an impactful demon synergy card that Imp Swarm (Rank 1) can take advantage of, but Warlock will also have Fiendish Circle in the core set for a more efficient way to swarm demons if they need to.

With the amount of burst being removed from the core set, I could see 3 "inevitable" face damage being highly valued in the post-rotation meta. That being said, Mankrik doesn't make sense in decks that don't have a lot of efficient card draw as you risk Mankrik being just a 3/4 more often than not. Because of this, I see Mankrik fitting into both Rogue and Demon Hunter easily.

I imagine seeing Blademaster Samuro in Libram Paladin as a replacement for lists that run Wild Pyromancer (which won't be in the core set) and for being a decent board clear on its own with multiple Libram of Wisdoms. I have a tough time seeing this in any other class without seeing more of the expansion cards as no other class cares as much about a Whirlwind effect or have a consistent way to buff Samuro's attack. Warrior is losing a lot of its enrage synergy losing both Inner Rage and Battle Rage in the core set, so they will have a tougher time justifying running Samuro. Overall, Samuro doesn't have the most universal effect, but that effect will work extremely well with classes that have the tools to take advantage of it.

Regis did an initial reveal stream for Rastakhan's Rumble and Kibler did the final reveal stream back when they did two reveal streams per expansion. That was the stream where Jan'alai, the Dragonhawk was revealed for all I remember of it.
