    Slate was my pre-order golden.  Or as I normally call the bad golden legendaries I get from pre-orders: my “choose your own non-golden legendary” legendary.

    I was thinking this has to be the main reason.  You pull him first, then 4-5 more portals, your turn might be over!

    There’s got to be more coming, right?!  I honestly don’t hold my duplicates too long after a set comes out.  Or at all!  But this set ai have held onto almost all duplicates, only dusting cards that are not seeing play or seem very unlikely to get nerfed.

    I want Devout Pupil and Argent Braggart to get a nerf.  Partially because they could maybe use one, but mostly for selfish reasons of having a golden copy of both!  Same with Potion of Illusion which I have 2 normal copies and 1 golden, but that’s far less likely than the other two.

    Should have happened a while ago.  Also, slight buff to Shadow Visions in my opinion!  Rarely when playing that do I want to discover another Shadow Visions, and it coming up as an option was only good if the other two options were not what I wanted.

    Yeah, with the Mindbreaker test findings I'd say there seems to be a yes/no value in the code to say if the hero power has been used.  As you mentioned, refreshing or replacing the power sets that back to "no" and Panthara is looking for a "yes" value.  Mindbreaker I would assume just disables the power without changing that value, and the hero power flipping over is just a cosmetic change in that instance.

    So that makes me think Coldarra would also interfere with Panthara's effect as it resets the hero power after each use.  Always fun learning more about interactions like this.

    It would seem you forgot about Hir'eek, the Bat.  But also... yeah, could have been better than Hooktusk.  Hopefully things have gone better for you since then.

    Just playing a game against one of those Mega Spell Damage Mages with Mozaki, Master Duelist.  Only they weren't playing with Mozaki.  Because after they played Potion of Illusion and filled their hand they passed the turn only to burn Mozaki at the start of their next turn!  What a shame.  But I guess the point of the deck was to build up to a big burn turn and that's kind of what they did!  Just not how they expected to do it.

    I mean, I doubt they’d ever do a combination tribe anyway.  Just like they’ll probably never do the Alliance/Horde faction idea too.  They want HS to be easy to pick up and multi-tribes or factions make it more complex.  Even if just a little.

    Still, they could maybe intro some of these things into a new game mode!  BGs technically already has alt versions of existing cards.  Could make a “Commander” mode where some Legendaries like Grom, Tirion, etc, all have faction tags to label them as commanders of that faction.

    And then maybe they’ll throw in three boards so you have a middle and two side lanes!  That simulates more of a WoW Battlegrounds type of mode!  And your units in each lane randomly either attack an enemy unit or the enemy face each round.  And you win by destroying two out of three towers, and OH WAIT this is just Artifact now... crap!

    Yeah, exactly.  Who cares about 4 overload if you cheat out 17 mana worth of minions on turn 3 with 2x Bloom, Kael, and a Guardians?

    But they could have thought about potentially problematic cards and banned them.  If we see it again I can imagine Raza being on that list.

    If Panthara doesn’t work then I assume it works by checking to see if the Hero Power is turned over (used) when played.  Since in this Brawl it always refreshes to a new power, that minion will read the power as “unused” every time.  I wonder if the same would happen with a Coldarra Drake on board too.  Or maybe it’s because the Hero Power in the Brawl is changing and you haven’t used that specific power in your turn...

    Anyway, Inspire should be fine.  They are in play when you use the Hero Power, therefore, even if it changes and refreshes the minion should still be able to register that you used your Hero Power.

    I don’t know.  It may depend on if they already were workshopping some DK ideas prior to Outland.  April 2021 could happen, but more likely to see that in 2022 or beyond, yeah

    They already have multi-tribe, technically... with Amalgams.  But those are technically “All”.  The could do something similar where the tag reads “Undead Pirate” or “Undead Beast”, etc, and just program them to be Undead and Beast on the back end how they program All to mean Beast, Dragon, Pirate, Totem, Murloc, and Elemental.

    Also, I may be one of a few who feel this way, but I’d love to see all cards have sone type of tribe tag. Even if it’s just “Human” or “Orc”.  It just gives for some slight variation on design space.  I’d even like to see some minions get Alliance or Horde emblems too.  Maybe just for major characters.  But then you could have cards with effects that depend on you controlling one of these “commander” units, or whatever.  Bring back some of that Horde vs Alliance feeling from Warcraft.

    That was my thought.  If they are thinking of adding Undead as a tribe in the future it is likely to go hand in hand with the introduction of a new Death Knight class.  If this happens I’d expect it no sooner than April with the start of the new HS year.  But if not then, April 2022.

    I was just looking at my Classic collection recently and I only need 1x of both Bane of Doom and Barrens Stablehand to complete my Classic set.  So that means I am not opening another Classic pack I get from brawl or rewards until this overhaul.  Got it!

    Has anyone thought of playing this in Paladin alongside Goody Two-Shields?  You buff off the first shield, then play a cheap spell to get it back.
