Make sure to add Malakir Rebirth. The net results is you get the Hydra and token and Grakmaw right back. Been playing around with Grakmaw in standard since I kept opening him in packs and this move tends to be an auto-concede most of the time, especially if you have The Ozolith out.
Well thank you for your work! I really enjoyed the article. To date myself a little bit I read a few books back in the Onslaught cycle. The Phage story arch seemed really freakin' cool in short bursts but I found the books to be almost like reading a Wiki with an absurd amount of filler and jilted dialogue.
Weird how active time for users went up. I wonder if something on a global scale might have affected that. Like something that has caused a massive amount of entertainment to be done in your home and taking away other options.
I am calling a sudden drop in activity levels and subs for Warcraft once a vaccine starts to hit mass distribution.
Cool lore dump. MtG was always weird to me because I liked the lore but hated all the books I read. Something about it felt very detached in it's story telling. I only tried 2 books but both were bad enough to put me off more than wiki articles since.
Willing to place money on the Drown in the Loch being banned on the first Monday next month. After the last round of nerfs it's rogue's everywhere. It's the one card that seems to stop the opponent from establishing any defenses or wiping the board. It wasn't so bad before but the problem with bans and improper balancing is it just creates a Tier 0 deck to replace the old tier 0 deck.
So much banning. Wizards needs to watch their card design. When you build a deck around Omnath or Lucky Clover there is a ton of crafting involved that can't really be side graded into different decks easily. People don't like making large investments only to have their deck neutered and their money/crafts wasted.
I was saving up to build my own Omnath deck, thankfully that was a bullet dodged simply because I didn't have the needed cards on hand. However I fear now that my Blue/Black rogue deck that I made day 1 will rise to a powerhouse that it is next on the ban hammer.
Ultimately MtG needs to look into separating the digital and physical format in terms of nerfing as opposed to banning. A ban hammer is a rough, rough tool to use. I like the game a lot but as a budget player (willing to spend a few bucks on every expansion but not sink a fortune into it) this is hard to follow. They need to consider allowing nerfs as opposed to bans. Failing that, they seem to be doing a poor job of playtesting some obviously powerhouse cards.
A conspiracy theorist may even find this as an intentional way of squeezing extra needs of crafting throughout an expansion, I don't think it's that sinister but it's starting to get a sideways glance from me that it's becoming more constant.
Yeah, but since they were planning on releasing a 10$ .jpeg they didn't use the actors when they had them in studio for the adventures. As many pointed out they literally had a young jaina actor available.
Makes more sense. I didn't think about the other languages. Still seems that a global games maker would have a pool of actors or at the very least an agency ready to bust these out.
My wife does voice acting jobs occasionally. She records some professional stuff from our closet in a few hours. If there are notes or corrections they can be sent back for re-recording. With high end software like Blizzard has they can clean up any distortion we can't detect. I have no clue why Blizzard is claiming voice-overs take a huge amount of time to come up with.

That moment when you find the last word and accidently hit the 'back' button on your mouse. :(

Always feel that "Standard" is a Friday Night copout. Most players play standard. Wish they would stick to different formats as well.
Looks fun with that Beefy Bayou Boi.
In that case you care a lot about my opinion. Thank you.
Well this has been a worthless waste of time for everyone. Super. Go not play this game I guess for unknown reasons.
Or you can not
Suggestion vs. command. You've literally spent more time being butthurt that people don't care about your vague-post than explaining it.
I didn't, you sensitive little cupcake.
Or you can not vaguely post non-comments if you don't provide context. No one is going to research your crap-posts to find meaning.
I don't know a whole lot about Runeterra or how to judge this power level... but that art+pun is on point.

Used this as my basis for my Friday Night Magic Singleton deck 8D
