What makes your opinion so special that it warrants a completely new thread?

Because I didn't know there was another thread on him. And you know that. You're just being an asshole.

I stopped playing it for some time because of it. Up until today that is. I try the mode again today and the same thing happens, again! Its completely rigged at the end. Things are completely fair and balanced up until you get to that last match. Then 100% time, ever time. It will brick your hand and place you against an aggro deck.

I have got to that last match at least 10 times now and it does that. I pull all expensive crap or just useless spells and can't do anything until turn 4 or 5 and by then I'm already dead. I'm not joking. It's done it every single time. Not once have I had a fair match on the last one and have lost all of them because of it.

    Fix the damn system!

I think he's pretty good the body is very defensive although it might get +1 or +2 on average on attack when lvled up Trundle has the potential to attack multiple turns thanks to his regenerate keyword and don't forget all the new grant spells.

An 8-10 overwhelm regenerate with that 5 mana taric spell that gives 3+3 and is burst + the attack he gains from behold cards and he can win the game in maybe 2 turns.

    Trundles icequake feels ehh yeah.

Well any card can be good if you add all that stuff to it. When evaluating a card you kinda just have to take it as is. Like what will this card get me if I happen to just have a bad hand and I'm forced to just use him for his base stats.

    Trundle Card Image

I feel like Trundle is just a really bad champ. He has good base stats and that's about it. He takes up a slot that you could put in an actual good champ, his mechanic that the deck has to be built around is just God awful, his champ card is Trundle's Icequake; which is also a horrible card; and his level up does essentially nothing. At most you will get is +2 attack, +1 on average, and if you get +3 or more, well congratulations, you have a bricked hand and you are probably going to lose. His only redeeming feature is that he gives you a free Ice Pillar which is an okay card, but even then I'd rather just run the Ice Pillar without Trundle eating up a champ slot.

But those are just my thoughts. What are yours?

I was just thinking when opening my chests today. What if you just save your weekly chests for the expansion? Will you get expansion cards or do the vault chests only drop what was available at the time? Also can you even stack up weekly vault chests or do they just reset every week?

It's only cheating if it shows information you couldn't possibly know without looking through your deck or enemies hand. Like for example. They nab some of your cards and the deck tracker marks the loss of those cards. Well now you know which cards they took and what they have in hand of yours. That's cheating.

    Gem cards my boy, Gems

Each Gem spell should proc Taric twice.
So all its needed to level him up is to play 3 gem cards (3 mana) and attack once.

Even then that's 7 mana in gems. That's a lot of mana. I mean I guess if you bank 7 gems then get him on board and drop them all in one turn to instantly level him. That would be almost like a dropping two U.S. at burst speed for 7 mana in total that also buffs several unites and gives one other unite tough for that attack phase then the tough and the remaining buffs besides the US will last forever.

But still that is kinda asking for a lot to go right to make that happen. Plus you need 7 slots to hold those gems. You can only have a hand of 10 cards. So that's a tight fit.

I have been seeing that more often too. It normally happens when they go all in on some game winning play and you counter it with something you obviously saved just for that play or just get lucky and top deck the perfect card for it.

Then they get salty that you out played them and stall the win as long as possible to annoy you.

I agree that Karma sure is one of the best champions after Turn 10, as designed to be.

But is she better late game then Heimerdinger, Ezreal, Nautilus, Anivia or even Yasuo?
    Answer is no.

    Heimer is trash now.

Ezreal is good alone but nowhere near as good as Karma. But when combined with Karma, he becomes WAAAAAY overpowered! Which points more to Karma being the overpowered one rather than Ezreal.

Nautilus sucks. There is a reason people are trying to find a way to cut him out of deep decks. He costs to much. If he is killed or sent back to hand 9 times out of 10 you lose. He's super easy to play around.

Anivia is just ass on her own. You need multiple Anivias to finish out a match most of time.

I'm unsure about deep. Its really easy to play around. Just have an answer for Nautilus and it slows them way down. It would be interesting to see if someone could make a deep deck that doesn't use Nautilus to remove that weakness.

The first match I played I used the ephemeral deck. It was obvious without even seeing the other decks that ephemerals would rule over a mode like that.

Been playing LoR for a bit over a month and have farmed a good portion of the cards but I have to ask: Is there a chance they will nerf some of the mechanics that make this game toxic for newbies at some point?  I dont mind getting facerushed or burn-spelled to death, but when I consistently come up against 3-4 recall/stun, deep, unyielding spirit and Heimer decks in every category of play ( Even casual and the tail end of gauntlet) it makes me want to uninstall and go back to some other TCG...  Is there hope or should I just quit while I have fond memories?  Even the pillage mechanic everyone seems to hate isnt as bad as the previous stuff, at least you can counter it with a strong board.

Some Vets pls chime in. I want to like LoR but... I quit Hearthstone for the same reason, only 3-4 decks can compete and I don't own all the cards.

I actually think this is mostly due to the fact that there isn't many cards in the game yet. Once a few expansions come out and there is a larger pool I'm sure the amount of viable decks will increase 10 fold. Thus adding for more variety among decks on the ladder.

We have a few cards that can use the Graveyard:
The Harrowing, Kalista, The Rekindler, Mist's Call

Allowing too much use of the Graveyard as resourse is a dangerous move.
Modern Yu-Gi-Oh! is the best example as it uses the Graveyard all the time for plays and look how bad their metagame became.

Also keep in mind Runeterra has the spellmana system. That could allow some degenerate power plays. Example: not playing anything on T1/T2 to store 3 spell mana; then play Get Excited! to discard a big unit; ressurect it with an effect similar to Mist's Call and attack RIGHT AWAY as this game don't have summoning sickness.

Do any of those cards work on discarded cards? Really do want to know. Because that would make them a ton better.

Honestly I'm surprised they don't have any dredge like cards that use your graveyard as a resource. They have a ton of discard cards but nothing to bring back discarded cards outside of deep.

Cards like that would really help champs like Jinx be more viable. Also you could build decks that discard expensive heavy hitters early on only to bring them back later during the mid game like turn 5 or 6 for cheap.

You could also take that as a way to add mill cards and cards to discard cards your enemy has in their hand or deck and even use your dredge cards to take from their graveyard too.

Why do you have an issue with Ashe when Tryndamere and Braum wear even fewer clothes?

Because I forgot about them. I don't see their picture every single time I sign in like I do with Ashe. Thus Ashe is more memorable. Also she is one of my fav champs to use on top of that. So basically Braum and Tryn were an out of sight out of mind thing.

Freljord is supposedly so cold that its own people pride themselves on being able to survive in it. So why does Ashe walk around half naked? -_-
