Interesting they would choose Parrot as a target. I guess they are scared of Big Spell Mage just taking over after the format shifts.
Also I feel like it's a miss to not nerf Frostwyrm's Fury. That card will always be a crutch for Frost DK and would be more balanced at 8-mana while leaving more design space.
Can't say anything about Wild, but surely there are more changes on the horizon if they actually plan to affect the format in a meaningful way.
Also, keeping Cataclysm around all these years for nostalgia is finally paying off.
Almost through with all of them. Most are either simple or just a grind.
Warrior is the worst one because you can't reliably achieve it before reaching 10-mana and having To the Front available.
DH is bugged in our favor because it doesn't count demons summons, but just the battlecry activating meaning you don'T need demons in your deck and can just copy and bounce with Brann and Zola to your heart's content.
Exarch one can probably be optimized in some way, but going Druid and ramping over 10-mana with Guff seems like the most efficient way so far.
Continuing the tradition of printing disconnected Discard support without a unifying gameplan that does nothing for Standard while overbuffing it in Wild.
This isn't even that good. If it upgraded per discarded card I would be impressed, but right now it's just a cheaper Hellfire if you dump a card for no reason.
It has to, right? Otherwise they just printed a card that is basically unplayable if you don't own a single specific legendary and said legendary leaving the main format in two months.
This just feels shameless, to release a card that is not only just supported by one single unrelated legendary, but also said legendary already rotating out of Standard in two months.
Should have just not printed it at all at this point.
That sounds like a pretty strong card for a swarm deck. Gonna need it too when Composting rotates.
Obviously you can also run it in Ramp Druid thanks to Scale (and possibly Flipper Friends) but I doubt they need even more draw than they already have.
Interesting. It's kind of like the old Edwin where sometimes you'd just play it as a 6/6 for tempo. Having this be a 6/6 on turn 3 is somewhat realistic and a 3-mana 10/10 on turn 8 isn't half-bad either.
However I don't think this really fits into any currently existing archetype
Very bizarre card. Doesn't fit Naga Mage (if that even still were a thing), we don't have an Elemental Mage as of now and there'S no value Mage deck around.

Didn't we have this one a few months ago?

okay so we're just printing existing cards for half the mana then...
Honestly looks like something that'll be nerfed to 3-mana within a week.
For fuck's sake, Peddler wasn't even a Naxxramas card, is there any thematic consistency to this miniset?

Really?

Powercreeping Savagery now? We're getting desperate I guess.
One last hurrah for Quest Druid, but I don't think it's gonna work out, especially since they already nerfed Anub'rekhan.

0-mana deal 4 is kinda nuts. Feels like it should be a solid addition for Thief Rogue
That's pretty strong. Sure, it's not really common to just dagger on two anymore, but hey, tempo is tempo.
Technically also support for Hooktusk with all the Pirate summoning, so who knows, maybe that becomes a thing again.
I feel like a targetted evolve effect that removes the RNG element to some extent is pretty strong.
Also Multicaster support.
Basically Windchill except of drawing you can double up on your own stuff or just yank something from your opponent, which could be quite good.
Hard to figure out which deck would want this.
Is Amalgam and Mistake enough to make this consistent in Murloc Shaman? If not then I don't see the point. Elemental Shaman doesn't exist anymore.
This is pretty good actually. It's always going to have impact and the downside is somewhat unimportant.
Aggro DH will play it.
Would have been useful a year ago, but Big Demon DH is virtually unplayable at this point, so I just don't see the reason for even playing this.
Absolute garbage. They keep trying to push Outcast DH without actually giving them Outcast cards worth playing. Why?

What is this for?
